Tamara Dhia is an Iraqi-American Actress, TV personality, and Journalist. She is popularly known for playing the lead role (Amal) in Santa Claus in Baghdad (2008).
Apart from that, she has had a number of other roles which have equally brought more fame her way. Tamara is currently the host of TRL (Total Request Live), the MTV show reboot which began airing in 2017.

To the best of our knowledge, Tamara Dhia was born in Baghdad, Iraq. Her date of birth was on November 22, 1992. It is said that her parents fled Iraq for the United States of America; as such, Tamara was raised in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.
Records have it that Tamara attended the American University in Washington D.C where she bagged a B.A in Communications (Broadcast Journalism) in 2003.
She relocated to New York in a bid to promote her acting career. The short film, Superdude & Friend (2005) where she played the role of a frightened onlooker is one of her earliest works in the movie industry. Her works in a supporting role include Transient, Tuesday’s Child, and Chris Weisberg is Going Bald. Tamara has also been a host for the show, My LA.
