Bio of Scott Foley
The tall hunk of a man was born Scott Kellerman Foley on the 15th of July 1972 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born to an international banker named Hugh Foley (his father) and Connie Foley (his mother). Scott grew up with his two younger male siblings, one of which is named Sean Foley. Due to the nature of Scott’s father’s job, his family spent some years in Japan, as well as in Australia. Scott was quite young when he lived in Japan and to this effect, he speaks fluent Japanese. The Foley family eventually returned to the US and settled in St. Louis, Missouri. However, few months after they did, Connie died of ovarian cancer. Scott was about 15 years old when the unfortunate death of his mother took place and was greatly traumatized by it.
Furthermore, for an unknown reason, this tragic event put a strain on Scott’s relationship with his father. However, some sources believe Scott somewhat blamed his father’s persistent traveling and resultant absence for the deterioration of his mother’s health. He felt she would have had a better chance of fighting cancer if the object of her affection was always by her side comforting her and not traveling around the globe working.
Although the Foleys are Americans, they are also of Northern European descent with English, German, Irish, and Scottish ancestors. According to factual findings, some of the Foley’s ancestors where prominent men.
