Who Are Charles Leclerc’s Brothers Lorenzo and Arthur Leclerc?

Charles Leclerc’s brothers are Lorenzo and Arthur Leclerc. Lorenzo is currently 27 years old, having been born on November 7, 1996, while Arthur is currently 23 years old, given the fact that he was born on October 14, 2000.

The Leclerc name is quite affiliated to motorsports thanks to Herve Leclerc who was very active in the sports during the 1980s and 1990s and inspired two of his three sons to carry on the legacy. Few people would argue against the fact that Charles LeClerc has gone above and beyond in that regard, but he is not the only Leclerc son in the sport. This article focuses on his brothers, Lorenzo and Arthur, one of whom is also a racing driver.

Lorenzo Leclerc is The Oldest of The Leclerc Brothers

  • Date of birth: November 7, 1996
  • Age: 27 years old
  • Occupation: Business Professional

Lorenzo Leclerc was born on November 7, 1996, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, to Herve and Pascale Leclerc. He is currently 27 years old, meaning he is just under a year older than his more famous younger brother, Charles Leclerc.

His father, Herve, established the Leclerc family motorsports legacy with his active participation in motorsports, particularly driving in Formula 3, during the 1980s and 1990s. Unfortunately for Lorenzo and the rest of the family, they lost their father in 2017, aged just 54, after a long battle with illness.

Both of Lorenzo’s brothers, Charles in particular, have carried on that legacy to exceptional degrees of success in direct comparison to their father. Lorenzo, however, is the odd one out after he decides to go a different route.

He Has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration

According to several verifiable sources, Lorenzo also caught the motorsports bug from their father and was an accomplished Kart driver when he was young, but changed his mind for relatively financial reasons.

After high school, he enrolled at the extravagant International University of Monaco, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He then proceeded to Reims Management School, France, where he met all the requirements for a master’s degree in the same discipline. Armed with those stellar academic qualifications amply set him up for a largely promising professional career.

Lorenzo Leclerc is a Successful Businessman

Just like Charles appears to have found incredible success in the world of motorsports, Lorenzo seems to have followed suit in the business world. He is the CEO of All-Time, a company he co-founded in December 2022. The company is dedicated to providing services to sports athletes.

Prior to essentially rising to the position of CEO of his own company, Lorenzo cut his teeth the old-fashioned way by gaining valuable experiences from the different organizations he worked with. His first professional gig was as a managing director at Apex, a company based in Monaco.

The four years he spent with the company adequately prepared him for his next assignment as the managing director of Square Capital in 2020. With regard to his personal life, it would appear that the Monegasque businessman likes to keep that aspect of his life away from the media and the general public. It makes it relatively hard to ascertain whether he is married or in a romantic relationship.

Arthur Leclerc, Charles Leclerc’s Brother, is Also a Race Driver

  • Date of Birth: October 14, 2000
  • Age: 23 years old
  • Occupation: Race Driver

Arthur Leclerc was born in Monte Carlo, Monaco, on October 14, 2000. He is currently 23 years old and just a couple of days under three years younger than his brother, Charles. It also essentially makes him the youngest of the three Leclerc brothers.

Arthur was only about 17 years old when his father, Herve Leclerc, died at the age of 54 in 2017. It’s safe to say, though, that he was old enough to have been initiated into the family business of car racing. Other than Charles, he is the only other Leclerc brother who is actively involved in car racing.

Compared to his immediate older brother, the 23-year-old is still relatively in the formative years of his motorsports career. Nevertheless, one could argue the fact that he has everything it takes to perhaps match or even surpass his brother Charles who appears to be at the very peak of his powers at the moment.

A cursory glance at Arthur’s career trajectory rightly puts the previous statement in perspective. He won the Kart Racing Academy championship in 2014 when he couldn’t have been more than 14 years old. There was no looking back from that point on, and Arthur has gone on to compete in several series since then.

Within the space of just four years, from 2018 to 2022, Arthur competed in the French F4 Championship, where he finished overall 5th, ADAC Formula 4, FR European Championship, Alpine Elf Europa Cup, FIA Formula 3 European Championship, and the FR Asian Championship which he won.

It seems fairly important to point out that Arthur’s racing career started relatively late at the age of 17, as his family prioritized getting his older brother Charles to Formula One. That relative career setback seems not to have altered Arthur’s career trajectory.

Nonetheless, only time will tell if he will be as successful as his immediate older brother when it comes to motorsports and car racing. This prognosis is largely down to the fact that there are several other drivers, including Robert Shwartzman, Giuliano Alesi, Callum Ilott, Marcus Armstrong, Enzo Fittipaldi, Gianluca Petecof, and Dino Beganovic, all of whom are his main rivals for a Ferrari F1 seat.

Charles Leclerc Has a Good Relationship With His Brothers

Charles Leclerc may be a big star in the world of car racing, but to his brothers, he is just one of the gang. The F1 driver enjoys a good relationship with both of his brothers and often celebrates their wins and achievements as if they were his own.

When Arthur finished third in the 2019 ADAC Formula 4 championship, as well as seven podiums and a win in the season’s final race, Charles acknowledged how difficult a challenge it was before describing the win as amazing. He went on to say that it felt like a victory for him, as anything that happens to his brother feels like it happened to him too.

It just goes to show that the brothers are a tight-knit group who are always there for each other through the good and the bad times.
