Quentin Tarantino Has Been With Wife Daniella Pick For Over 12 Years – All About Their Family

Movie director Quentin Tarantino has been successful with women as much as his directing career has been successful. He had girlfriends at various times and these were not just any type of women, but women who have also been successful in their own respective careers. They range from actresses to film and television directors, writers, television hosts, comedians, fashion designers, songwriters, etc. These career women include Ali Larter, Allison Anders, Kathy Griffin, Margaret Cho, Mira Sorvino, Shar Jackson, Sofia Coppola, and Tilda Swinton. Before he settled down for marriage with Daniella Pick, they dated on and off for many years.

Among other things, the age difference between Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick has always been an interesting fact about the couple. In February 2018, rumors had it that they had parted ways and people were quick to speculate that the differences in their age gap between them might have contributed to the separation. Thankfully, it emerged that the rumors were just rumors and nothing more. Quentin and Daniella have been married for a few years now and have expanded their family. The wife of the popular director is fairly famous but people continue to wonder who she is and what she does for a living.

Quentin Tarantino’s Wife Is An Israeli Singer and Model

  • Date of Birth: November 21, 1983
  • Age: 40 Years Old
  • Occupation: Singer, Model, Actress
  • Duration of Marriage With Quentin: 2018 – Present
  • No. of Kids With Quentin: One Son (Leo Tarantino)

As Quentin Tarantino is one of the most popular movie directors and producers in the world, it is not difficult to see why many would assume his marriage to Daniella Pick is why the Israeli singer is popular. True, their relationship gained Daniella more exposure but she has always been popular. Her father is Svika Pick, an Israeli pop singer known across the globe.

Born on the 21st of November 1983 in Ramat Ha-Sharon, Israel, Daniella would also become popular in her own right as a singer. She and her older sister, Sharonda Pick, pulled off remarkable achievements as a singing duo known as The Pick Sisters. But as fate would have it, they parted ways. Since then, Daniella has been pursuing a solo career, even though she is mostly known as Quentin Tarantino’s wife of late.

Daniella Pick has the looks of a model and it didn’t go to waste. She had a modeling career that saw her work with popular brands, feature in notable ad campaigns, and grace the cover of first-rate magazines in Israel and beyond. She is also a bit of an actress: Pick played Daphna Ben-Cobo in her husband’s “Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood. That remains her only role as an actress but she has made appearances in several TV shows and specials like “Rokdim Im Kochavim”, “Big Brother VIP”, and “Goalstar”.

Quentin Tarantino Is 60 Years Old and 20 Years Older Than His Wife

When Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick started dating, they quickly gained a lot of attention because of the massive age gap between them. As highlighted above, Daniella born in November 1983 is 40 years old. What this means is that the popular movie director had lived for two decades before his wife was born.

Despite the massive age differences between them, there was no stopping the two from becoming lovers. It shouldn’t surprise anyone if it was suggested in some quarters that Daniella was only dating Quentin for fame and financial benefits – that has always been the norm. Nonetheless, the fact that Daniella was already a popular name in showbiz before she started dating Quentin suggests otherwise.

Also, the couple broke up at some point and dated other people before they got back together and eventually got married. If anything, this fact shows that what they feel for each other is genuine.

The Couple Started Dating In 2009, Broke Up, and Resumed Dating In 2016

The Tarantino-Pick love story began in 2009. As you would easily find, the two met while the famous director visited Pick’s country to promote his war film, “Inglourious Basterds”. Details of their meeting are yet to be revealed but it is said that they began dating soon after. This was confirmed after the paparazzi captured the two together on several occasions. In September 2009, they were seen at the Los Angeles premiere of “Whip It”, a sports comedy-drama film directed by Drew Barrymore.

If people hoped to see more of them, they must have been left disappointed as it soon emerged that Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick had parted ways. It is not known why the breakup happened but it was speculated in some quarters that it had to do with their schedules and age difference. After the breakup, the famous director began dating Courtney Hoffman, a costume designer; while Pick was romantically linked to Uri Gottlieb, an Israeli actor.

But then, fate brought Tarantino and Pick back together in the summer of 2016, this is according to Israeli media. Reports from America claim they rekindled their romance in 2015. Whatever be the case, the couple has been together since then.

They Got Engaged In June 2017 and Had a Jewish Wedding In November 2018

After the couple resumed dating, they wasted no time in taking the relationship to the next level. It was precisely on the 30th of June 2017 that the director asked the Israeli singer to become his wife. This notably happened about eight months after the director disclosed his plans to retire and build a family.

Following their engagement, Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick didn’t wait for a long time before they walked down the aisle: it happened the following year, on the 28th of November 2018. The Jewish ceremony took place in their Beverly Hills Home and was witnessed by about 20 people, including Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, and Tim Roth

Before the wedding, they had an engagement party attended by most of the cast members of “Pulp Fiction”, a 1994 neo-noir black comedy crime film regarded as one of Quentin’s finest projects.

The Couple Currently Lives In Israel and Are Parents to a Son Named Leo

To a large extent, the couple has been keeping their family life away from the public and the media. But we can tell that things have been going smoothly for them, or at least for the Hollywood director. Six months into the marriage, he reportedly proclaimed that he had shied away from getting married all along because he was “waiting for the perfect girl”.

It was in August 2019 that it emerged the two were expecting their first child. Tarantino confirmed this during his acceptance speech after he won the Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay in January 2020. He thanked his wife watching from Tel Aviv, confirming that she is pregnant with his “very first child”.

The following month (February 22, 2020), Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick welcomed their son at a hospital in Tel Aviv. A week later, it emerged that they named the baby boy Leo, after Daniella Pick’s maternal grandfather. From what we gathered, the family resides in an affluent neighborhood of Tel Aviv; they are renting a home that costs almost $23,000 per month.
