Thomas Raggi Created a Music Band At 18

However, with Thomas playing the guitar, Victoria De Angelis playing the bass guitar, and Damiano David serving as the vocalist, they soon realized that they needed a drummer. So, they put out an advert for a drummer on Facebook and that was how Ethan Torchio came on board, making the band a four-man band.

Initially, the band started by performing on streets without a name. However, when they wanted to register for ‘Pulse’ a local music contest for upcoming bands, they needed a name. The boys asked Victoria De Angelis to come up with some Danish words, and they all agreed on Måneskin which means “moonlight.”

Thankfully, they won the contest and that was a huge turning point for the band as they were privileged to perform their own songs for an audience who loved them.

Performing In X Factor Was a Major Breakthrough For Thomas Raggi and His Patterns

After winning Pulse, the group continued to perform on streets but this time on major streets like Via del Corso. They even got invited outside Rome to Denmark and this encouraged them to work harder.

In 2017, they auditioned for X Factor (a talent show in Italy) and although they did not win the competition, it increased their fan base and gained them more recognition across Italy and beyond. On the 24th of November 2017, the musical band crew released their first album which they titled ‘Chosen’ and since then, they have continued to bless the heart of people with their music.

The Måneskin musical band crew has been nominated for several musical awards. However, in March 2021, the band won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021. Barely months after that, Raggi and his musical band crew bagged an invite to the Eurovision song contest where they performed their song, Zitti e buoni.
