Taylor Kinney is an American actor and model best known for his role as Mason Lockwood in The Vampire Diaries and Lieutenant Kelly Severide in Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med. Taylor and Lady Gaga dated for five years, from 2011 to 2016. They announced their engagement on Valentine’s Day 2015 but later called it off in July 2016. Lady Gaga disclosed they broke up largely due to her work schedule.

In 2013, the “Stupid Love” singer told Fashion magazine that when you meet someone who does not feel intimidated by either the people around you or the love that you receive, “that’s love.” She went on to say that men were not always happy for her, adding that it was quite a challenge watching a woman be so successful.
But it was different with Kinney as he was okay with her success, or so she thought. Although neither Taylor nor Gaga has revealed the reason for their breakup in plain words, some comments by the latter pointed to the fact that at a point in their relationship, Taylor, just like the men before him, found it difficult to handle her success.
In her documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, released in 2017, Gaga allowed fans a peep into her relationship with Taylor Kinney and at one point she revealed that all was not well between her and Taylor, saying “Me and Taylor are fighting, so that sucks. I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt. I sold 30 million and lost Luke. I did a movie and lose Taylor. It’s like a turnover.

A few months after he broke up with Lady Gaga, Taylor was rumored to be involved with a South Philadelphia woman named Alanna DiGiovanni. According to an October 2016 report by Page Six, the actor and the lady, who works at the radiology unit of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, were dating quietly. The report also claimed that the duo even traveled together to Austin, Texas, to be at the Formula One race and a Taylor Swift concert.
DiGiovanni also reportedly paid Taylor a visit in Chicago where he films Chicago Fire. Later on, in September 2019, Taylor Kinney was photographed as he locked lips with an unknown woman during an outing at the Columbia Kettle Works taproom in his home state of Pennsylvania.

Speaking of the picture, which was published in the Daily Mail, the source who had no idea who the woman was, said that Taylor just started making out with her, and she looked like she was enjoying it. The source also revealed that that was not the first time Kinney was seen with dates as he usually brought beautiful girls into town. However, he met this particular mystery woman at the said bar that night.
In March 2020, rumors of Taylor Kinney dating again began making the rounds after he uploaded a video on Instagram of him dancing to Jon Pardi’s “Heartbreak Medication” with a woman whose identity is unknown. Even though it’s hard making out who the woman is, both of them appeared to have a close connection, which led fans to write comments assuming he had moved on from his former fiancée, Lady Gaga.
Judging by the lyrics of the particular verse of the song they were dancing to (“And here I go again, I’m drinkin’ one, I’m drinkin’ two / I got my heartache medication, a strong dedication / to gettin’ over you, turnin’ me loose.”), it’s strongly believed that the pair are more than friends.
Meanwhile, all through the year 2020, the actor posted other pictures that featured the same woman, which makes it safe to assume she is his new girlfriend. However, having become super-private with his love life since Gaga, we don’t expect him to share more than he has already.
