Morgan Fairchild Biography

Even though it is as Morgan Fairchild that the world knows the actress, she was actually born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950, in Dallas, Texas. She was brought up by her parents, Edward Milton McClenny and Martha Jane McClenny who was a teacher. She has a sister, Cathryn Hartt, who is also an actress.

As a young child of less than 10, Morgan was too shy that she was unable to give a class report. Because of this, her mother thought it best to enroll her in drama lessons. Thanks to this, she got to start acting as a child. It was first with school plays and then later, she started appearing in commercials. When she was 14, Morgan contested for the Miss Teenage Dallas crown which, unfortunately, she lost.

For her education, the actress went to Lake Highlands High from where she graduated in 1967. Before going too far in acting, Patsy Ann McClenny changed her name professionally to Morgan Fairchild.

Her first role came in 1966 when she got a role in Bonnie and Clyde. Her next role came in A Bullet for Pretty Boy in 1970. While she went on to appear in many other movies in the 1970s and 80s, she first made a serious name for herself on TV with shows like Search for Tomorrow which ran from 1973 to 1977 and Flamingo Road which was on from 1980 to 1982.

Most recently, she has acted in several movies including Scales: Mermaids Are Real and You’re Gonna Miss Me in 2017, as well as All Good Things and My Perfect Romance in 2018.

This actress has been nominated for awards such as the Golden Globes, Primetime Emmy, Daytime Emmy, Soap Opera Digest, and Razzie Awards.

There is no denying the fact that Morgan Fairchild is a very beautiful woman who as some may say, has defied aging. For someone who is cruising into the 70s, she doesn’t just maintain her beauty, but also the youthfulness that one will not associate with many in that age bracket.

With that said, there are many who have associated her looks and youthfulness to plastic surgery even though going back to her early days, she was among the most beautiful women of the 1960s to the 1980s.

Comparing her early pictures to the ones that came much later, it is believed by some that she had plastic surgery to increase her breasts. Also, it has been alleged that the former sex symbol has also worked on her lips and cheeks.

Whether or not one believes she has had surgery done on her, she revealed in the American talk show, The Doctors, that at her age, she has the face that she earned and paid for. She said the payment could be in the form of creams, heartache, surgery, and other things.
