Yuriana Castillo Torres (born October 6, 1990) was a Mexican-American model and VIP in the buchona show business. She died on May 7, 2014, after she was abducted and murdered.
Yuriana died at the age of 23 years old and it was reported that was died of suffocation by hanging following her abduction. While she lived, she was the girlfriend of the Mexican drug lord, Jose Rodrigo Arichiga Gambia popularly known as El Chino Antrax. Yuriana Castillo was killed a few months before her 24th birthday. After her boyfriend, El Chino, was apprehended by US security operatives in January 2014, she moved in with her child. Yuriana had spent some time in Culiacan, Sinaloa Mexico, which was also her hometown.
On May 6, 2014, she went for her regular workout routine in a gym in Culiacan. After her exercise, she walked towards her car but was kidnapped by armed men. According to eyewitnesses, a couple of men pulled up in a truck and took her away leaving her purple shoes behind.
An anonymous witness explained that the men backed up at Paseo de las Palmas Boulevard. The place was between Rio Tabala and Juan Aldama in Guadalupe County. After they pulled up in the space, two men came down and dropped a bunch rolled in white sheets. The unsuspecting crowd thought that they were just messing up the area.
However, that day became a bad one for El Chino Antrax’s beau as the men who abducted her mercilessly murdered her. At the time of her death, Yuriana was 23 years old. Barely 24 hours after her disappearance, the Mexican law enforcement agency launched a search for her and on May 7, 2014, by 6:45 am, Yuriana Castillo’s lifeless body was found. The body was dumped in an empty building in Lomas de Guadalupe County in Culiacan.
El Chino Antrax Beau’s dead body was wrapped in a white sheet by her abductors. The wrapped body was tied up using electric cables and left in a space behind the Salvador Allende School. However, no arms were found in the area and there were no traces of gunshots on her body.

According to Sinaloa Attorney General, Yuriana Castillo Torres died of suffocation by hanging. After she went missing, her body was tracked down the next day by Mexican law enforcement operatives. Her remains were taken for forensic analysis and the post-mortem results revealed that she was tortured to death.
The reports also showed that she received multiple blows to her head while her hands and legs were tied up using electric cables. But there is no information about her killers yet available to the public.
During her internment, members of her boyfriend’s cartel, Los Antrax came to pay their condolences and bid her farewell. In honor of her, they left behind a floral ornamentation at the mortuary. However, her partner, El Chino Antrax, could not attend her funeral as he was incarcerated at the time of her abduction, subsequent murder, and funeral.
