F1 racer Daniil Kvyat’s daughter, Penelope Kvyat, is 4 years old as she was born on July 27, 2019, in Russia. Coincidentally, she was born just one day before the 2019 Grand Prix.

Her birth sign is Leo and she has dual nationality status of Russia/Brazil owing to the fact that she was born in Russia to a Russian father and a Brazilian mother. It becomes quite necessary to state here that Daniil Kvyat had Penelope with a Brazilian columnist and model named Kelly Piquet.

Penelope, who is still a child at the time of this writing, is most likely in kindergarten and as time goes by, people may come to know more about her formal education background. She is currently living out her early childhood years with her mother in Brazil.

There is no public information about how the couple met or if they were already together as a couple prior to Kelly’s Instagram post. Judging by the timeline of the post though, Penelope’s parents were together for a little over 2 years. One thing that is not in doubt, however, is the fact that they were still a couple when they gave birth to her.

Penelope Kvyat doesn’t have the privilege of being a big sister to anyone yet . As previously stated, her parents’ relationship ended around 5 months after she was born and there was no way she could get even one sibling out of them.

That particular information is not set in stone though and Penelope Kvyat could yet become a big sister someday as her mother has already moved on from the break-up with her father and is currently in a relationship with Max Verstappen, another race car driver whom she officially became an item with in October 2020.

Penelope’s dad, on the other hand, is yet to dust off the cobwebs of his relationship with her mother but it is almost certain that he will eventually. When he does, there is also every possibility that he might have children with whichever woman he chooses to be romantically involved with.

For starters, her father is a Formula One race driver who has been active in motor sports since 2005. He was born Daniil Vyacheslavovich Kvyat on 26 April 1994 in Ufa, Russia. His father, Vyacheslav Kvyat, started working as a mechanic at Bashneft, a Novo-Ufan refinery before becoming the financial director of the company’s export division until 1996. Not much is known about his mother, Zulfiya Kvyat, as she was likely a homemaker.

Penelope Kvyat’s father has had some career highlights which include Championship titles in the 2012 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps. In 2013, he won the GP3 Series. He has appeared in a good number of tournaments including GP3 Series, FIA European, F3 Championship, Formula Renault 2.0 Alps, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, Toyota Racing Series, Formula BMW Europe, and Formula BMW Pacific amongst others.

He has also represented a number of racing outfits which include Red Bull, Alpha Torri, and Torro Rosso. He has driven engines like Renault, TAG Heuer, Ferrari, Toro Rosso, and Honda.

Penelope Kvyat’s Mother Comes From A Family Of Racing Royalty

Not to be left out of the accolades, Penelope’s maternal grandfather is a well-known legend in the world of car racing. His name is Nelson Piquet and he was Formula 1 world champion 3 times- in 1981, 1983, and in 1987.

Together with his then-wife, Sylvia Tamsma, Penelope’s maternal grandfather gave birth to her mother, Kelly Piquet, on December 7, 1988, in Hamburg, Germany. Penelope Kvyat also has two uncles who are involved in the world of car racing; her mother’s younger brother, Nelson Piquet Jr., and her younger step-brother, Pedro Estacio Piquet.

Penelope’s mother’s current boyfriend, Max Verstappen is also a well-known race car driver who celebrated his most recent victory on December 12, 2021. That celebration was sparked by his F1 World Championship win.

Penelope’s mom, Kelly Piquet, is no slouch in the celebrity department either. She has achieved career success as a model, columnist, blogger, health and wellness coach, among others. She has a degree in International Relations from a New York City college and has written engaging articles for a number of magazines including Vogue Latinoamerica and Marie Claire Magazine.

Her writing and social skills have also landed her a job as the social media manager for Formula E, her current place of employment, where she also writes their official blog. She is also a respected Health and Wellness Coach who works with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Her career endeavors have helped her accumulate a substantial net worth of around $1 million.
