Unraveling Vanessa Williams’ Love Life With 2 Ex-Husbands and The Children She Has

Vanessa Williams was ushered into the limelight in 1984 when she became the first woman of African-American descent to win the Miss America beauty contest. In the years that followed, she has grown from being a beauty queen to a Grammy-nominated singer, star Hollywood actress, Broadway actress, author, brand influencer, and entrepreneur among others. However, while her career flourished, her love life suffered a great deal. This resulted in two failed marriages- first her marriage to Ramon Hervey II, her then-manager with whom she had three children, and then her union with the professional Basketball player, Rick Fox, who is six years Vanessa’s junior and with whom she shares a daughter.

Almost eleven years after her second divorce, Vanessa Williams decided to give marriage another shot. She got married to her present husband, retired accountant Jim Skrip, in 2015, and applying the lessons she took home from her first two marriages to her third one, the entertainer is what she can to ensure that she stays married this time.

Who Is Vanessa Williams’ First Husband?

  • Name: Ramon Hervey II
  • Date of Birth: October 18, 1950
  • Age: 73 Years Old
  • Occupation: Music Executive

A product of an inter-racial marriage between Ramon T. Hervey and Winifred Hervey, Ramon Hervey II was born on the 18th of October 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after he was born, his family relocated to California where he was raised alongside his two sisters,  Winifred and Christie.

He studied at Lompoc Junior High School before moving on to Cabrillo Senior High School from where he graduated in 1968. Continuing his education, Hervey II enrolled in Whittier College, Whittier, Southern California, in 1968 and finished with a degree four years later.

Following his college graduation, Ramon got a job at Pan American Airlines where he worked as a flight attendant from 1973 until 1975 when he moved over to the music industry. Beginning his journey in the industry, he got his first job at a popular artist management firm known as Starlite Music Artists in 1974, and there, he worked as a publicist, writing copies on behalf of artists.

One year later, he left the company, and armed with the experience he gained while working at his previous job, he landed another at Hamlett Marsh Publishers where he worked as an editor. A year down the line, he decided it was time to move on when he got a job offer from one of America’s biggest artist management companies, Motown Records, in 1976. At Motown, Ramon served as a writer/publicist, and as a result, he was opportune to work on the publicity campaign of celebrated artists such as Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye.

After he left Motown Records, Ramon was employed as a writer and publicist for Rogers & Cowan. Thanks to his wealth of experience and knowledge of the entertainment industry, he quickly rose through the ranks and eventually became the director of music and vice president of music and talent in the late 1970s. Having established himself in the industry, he easily attracted many A-list clients who he represented. Among them were Herb Alpert, George Benson, Richard Pryor, The Bee Gees, and Nick Nolte.

He eventually quit working at Rogers & Cowan in 1981 and joined The Gibson Group (Now The Group) as a partner and co-president, remaining there until five years later. Meanwhile, in 1985, just one year before he left Rogers & Cowan, Hervey decided it was time to establish his own company, having learned so much about public relations and artist management through the years. His firm named Hervey & Company had gospel singer Andrae Crouch as its first client. Since then, he has managed many popular entertainers, including his ex-wife Vanessa Williams.

Vanessa Williams and Ramon Hervey Met in 1984

Ramon Hervey II met Vanessa Williams in 1984 when his services as a public relations specialist were employed to resuscitate her career, which suffered a great deal following the scandal that led to her resignation as Miss America in July 1984. The duo met for the first time shortly before the news conference at which Vanessa renounced her title.

For context, Vanessa became the first African-American to win the Miss America beauty pageant in 1983. Sadly, her reign came to an abrupt end in July 1984 as a result of a scandal that arose when nude pictures of her went public. She had posed nude while working for a professional photographer who employed her as a receptionist and makeup artist two years earlier (when she was 19).

While speaking to People after the scandal, Williams said she was assured by the said photographer that the photos, some of which had “two models pos[ing] nude for silhouettes … to make different shapes and forms,” would never be published. However, following her rise to fame, he went back on his words after Penthouse magazine offered him an irresistible sum in exchange for the images.

A few weeks before her tenure ended, precisely on July 20, 1984, The New York Times reported that Penthouse magazine was set to publish the unauthorized photographs of the then-reigning Miss America in its September issue as revealed by Robert Guccione, the magazine’s publisher. As a result, Vanessa told ABC News, the Miss America Organization gave her 72 hours to voluntarily leave the Miss America seat, after which she would be stripped of her title.

Vanessa William’s resignation was followed by a lot of mean treatment by people, some of who would ride by her house and “beep things and yell stuff,” according to the singer. Not only was she disgraced out of the Miss America throne, but she also lost endorsement deals and other opportunities. She told ABC News in 2015 that “All in all I lost about two million dollars in endorsements and countless other offers that would have come my way once I finished my reign.”

After the scandal, Vanessa became a celebrity outcast. Her dreams of becoming a singer and actress nearly went down the drain but thanks to her fighting spirit and the help of Ramon Hervey II, who became her manager, she was able to build her career and ink her name on the list of America’s best entertainers.

The Duo Got Married Two Years After They Met and Divorced Ten Years Later

While working towards getting Vanessa’s career off the ground, she and Ramon Hervey II fell in love. They subsequently tied the knot on January 3rd, 1987 in a ceremony that took place at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Manhattan. They were joined together by the Rev. Michael Donahue in the presence of about 60 witnesses made up of their family and friends.

Unfortunately, ten years after they exchanged marital vows, their marriage was dissolved. Among the things that led to the end of the celebrity marriage was Vanessa’s busy career schedule. At the time they got married, Vanessa Williams was 23 while Ramon was 33. The following year, she had her first child, just when her career was beginning to take shape. By the time she was 30, she had had her third child and with her husband as her manager, they were both working on her career and raising their children together. However, it wasn’t easy striking a balance between work, kids, and her relationship with her husband.

Speaking to Elizabeth Kiefer of Glamour magazine in August 2019, Vanessa revealed that she was always busy with her career and her life as a wife and mother simultaneously, and on her list, her kids came first while her career came second. “Unfortunately that meant the marriage came third…There were a lot of demands on my time, so you do the best you can. There’s no such thing as balance. When you’re working hard, you’re feeling guilty. You hope your partner understands the kids have to come first a lot of times…You’re just not going to be 100% available, and the marriage—the relationship—does change.”, she explained.

In addition to not being able to give enough time to her marriage, Vanessa also disclosed that her husband was unfaithful. According to her, they had some issues with infidelity but because she wanted her marriage to work, she hung in there until she could not bear it anymore.

In 1996, rumors began to make the rounds in the media that Vanessa and her husband had parted ways and that Ramon was no longer her manager. In April of the same year, Vanessa Williams’ assistant confirmed to Jet Magazine that the singer had dropped her husband as her manager but said that speculations about their divorce were untrue. Sadly, the rumors turned out to be true as the couple ended up getting a divorce the following year. Although Vanessa described the divorce as a painful one in the October 1997 edition of Ebony Magazine, the couple never said anything bad about each other.

Vanessa’s Second Husband Is The Former Professional Basketball Player, Rick Fox

  • Name: Ulrich Alexander Fox
  • Date of Birth: July 24, 1969
  • Age: 54 Years Old
  • Occupation: Canadian-Bahamian former basketball player, actor, businessman, and former owner of the esports franchise

Rick Fox is a multi-faceted Canadian-Bahamian man who has made a name for himself as a professional basketball player and prolific actor. Born in Toronto on the 24th of July 1969, the former NBA star is the son of Ulrich Fox, a Bahamian, and Dianne Gerace, a retired Canadian track athlete. When he was a young boy, Fox’s father moved his family to his country, and there, Fox attended Kingsway Academy located in Nassau, capital of The Bahamas.

He began playing basketball in the early 1980s when he went to a summer camp and joined the high school’s basketball team known as the Saints. He also played high school basketball in Warsaw, Indiana, where he honed his skills. Unfortunately, after playing for only two seasons, from 1984–1986, his high school eligibility ran out as he had completed eight semesters. Without playing his senior season, Fox went on to play at the University of North Carolina from where he later earned a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, and Motion Pictures.

He eventually began his professional career after he was selected by the Boston Celtics with the 24th overall pick in the 1991 NBA draft. He played for the team until 1997 when he was released. Without much delay, he joined the Los Angeles Lakers and stayed with them until he was traded back to his draft team during the 2003–04 season. However, rather than return to the Celtics, Fox decided to retire. Meanwhile, the basketball star also played twice on the national team representing Canada at the FIBA World Championships in 1990 and 1994.

Also a businessman, Rick, and his partner, Amit Raizada, bought the 2009 multiplayer online battle arena video game League of Legends team known as Gravity Gaming and changed its name to Echo Fox. He remained a co-owner of the esports franchise until October 2019 when he left.

While his NBA career was still active, Fox also had an active acting career. He has appeared in television series, reality television shows, and movies. He had his big breakthrough as an actor when he was cast as prison inmate Jackson Vahue on HBO’s series Oz in 1997, featuring on the show between 1997 and 2003, and making appearances in eleven episodes. Since then, he has appeared in recurring roles in many TV series including 1-800-Missing, Love, Inc, One Tree Hill, Dirt, House of Payne, Single Ladies, The Glades, Hit the Floor, Sin City Saints, Shoot the Messenger, K.C. Undercover, and Greenleaf.

The actor was also a series regular on Mr. Box Office where he played the role of Andrew Thompson, appearing in 13 episodes between 2012 and 2013. Rick Fox also has more than twenty film appearances, including short films, under his belt. Among the reality shows he has featured in are The Game, Dancing with the Stars, RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Eric Andre Show, and Celebrity Name Game. Others are Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? Celebrity Name Game, Match Game, Celebrity Family Feud, Home & Family among others.

The Former Celebrity Couple Met In 1998 and Tied The Knot The Next Year

Vanessa Williams and Rick Fox reportedly met in August 1998 and were immediately attracted to each other. According to the actress, she was drawn to Fox from the onset because he was mature for his age and he wanted her from the beginning. What Fox felt for Vanessa was so strong that “He said that ‘if I don’t marry you, I am not going to marry anybody else’. That was very comforting” the actress later disclosed.

Believing that these words came from a place of genuine love, Miss Williams accepted to marry the then-active basketball player. The pair eventually got married twice- first, a quiet and private ceremony while on a romantic getaway in the Caribbean in the summer of 1999 and later, in a church in New York on September 26th of the same year in the presence of their family and friends.

With both Vanessa and Fox being young, rich, famous, good-looking, and in love with each other, one couldn’t think of anything that could possibly go wrong with their union. But regrettably, as good as the couple looked together, they were unable to keep their marriage for long.

A Few Years Down The Line, The Former Beauty Queen Got Divorced A Second Time

Five years after they tied the knot, Vanessa and her athlete husband parted ways. People reported in August 2004 that the former NBA star had filed for divorce from Vanessa having been estranged from each other for one year and five months. Fox’s representative confirmed the news without stating the reason why Fox decided on a divorce.

We would later learn from Vanessa’s memoir, You Have No Idea: A Famous Daughter, Her No-Nonsense Mother, and How They Survived Pageants, Hollywood, Love, Loss (and Each Other), that Fox never told her he would be filing for a divorce before announcing it. This left the singer’s mother so angry that when the couple later told her in person that they were ending their marriage, she couldn’t say a word.

For the sake of their then-4-year-old daughter, Vanessa and Rick managed to work out an amicable divorce. As result, they remained such good friends that three years after the end of their marriage, Rick made a guest appearance on the television show, Ugly Betty, in which Vanessa had a major role, playing the love interest of her character, Wilhelmina Slater.

Vanessa Reveals The Real Reason For Their Split

Speaking to Glamour about their relationship many years after, Vanessa Williams pointed out a number of things that led to the crash of their marriage and this includes their age difference. At the time the duo got married, Vanessa was 36 years old while Fox was six years younger. This got her worrying about being too old although she was still very young, she told the magazine.

Based on the age difference, Vanessa’s mother, Helen Williams, also told The Root that she knew from the beginning that her daughter’s marriage to the then-Los Angeles Lakers player would be short-lived. Despite her likeness for Fox, Helen was of the opinion that Fox was too immature to deal with being in a relationship with a popular figure like her daughter.

Another issue that destroyed the singer’s second marriage was that of proximity. Vanessa told Glamour that “We had a different set of issues from those of my first marriage, mostly because we weren’t on the same coast for most of it: He was on the road or out in Los Angeles, and after our daughter was born, I was on the East Coast, raising four children and flying across the country every two weeks. Given our professions, proximity was a tremendous obstacle, so we had that issue on top of the age thing.” This confirmed the words of an insider who told People in June 2004 that it wouldn’t be a surprise if the couple split considering the fact that they lived on opposite coasts all through their marriage.

The Ugly Betty star went further to disclose that her very high expectation of what a partner should offer her in a relationship also contributed to the failure of her marriages. She explained that one’s expectation from marriage stems from how one was raised. “It’s the template for how you behave, what your comfort level is, and what you’re willing to tolerate,” she said. In her own case, her parents’ relationship was a model for her and her father was her example of the kind of man she should settle for in marriage.

Speaking of her father Vanessa said, “…my expectations of a relationship had a really high benchmark because of my father. He was so good at everything: He could fix a car, he could do electrical work, he could build anything, he was a problem solver. He was also faithful, had incredible integrity, and was respected in his community. My father was my example of what I expected to find in a partner. And that’s impossible for anyone to live up to.”

Who Is Vanessa Williams’ Current Husband?

  • Name: Jim Skrip
  • Date of Birth:  January 1, 1960
  • Age: 64 Years Old
  • Occupation:  Businessman and Real Estate Agent

Jim Skrip is an American businessman and a real estate agent born in Buffalo, New York, on January 1, 1960. Unlike Vanessa’s first two husbands, Jim, who is also a former accountant, lived his life in obscurity until he got married to the celebrity singer-actress. Just like the former Queen, Jim has been married before and has a daughter from the marriage, according to reports. At the time he met Vanessa, he was in the process of finalizing his divorce from his previous wife whose name is unknown.

Mr. Skrip seems to be a man who prefers to keep information about his life private. As a result, there is hardly any detail about him on the internet. Even as he is currently married to a woman in the spotlight, he still chooses to have his life remain the way it was and that’s probably why Vanessa has never made any disclosures regarding anything that concerns him personally.

The A-List Entertainer Met Her Now-Husband Unexpectedly and Made The First Move Before They Hit It Off

After her second marriage ended, Vanessa channeled all her time and energy into her work and raising her children- the youngest (Sasha) of who went off to college in 2018. As a result of the high demand on her time and the presence of her last child who still lived with her at the time, dating was challenging.

This was because she was not comfortable introducing a man into her daughter’s life considering the fact that she was a young woman going through changes. She did not also want to make another mistake having learned that finding a partner “is not all about finding passion, love, and chemistry”, but about “How does this work in my life? Or even, Will it work in my life?”, Vanessa Williams told Glamour in 2019.

While the two-time divorcee was enjoying her life as a single woman and a mother, love came calling a third time. According to her, meeting Jim was completely unexpected. They met in 2012 while going on an excursion to Egypt aboard a cruise in the Nile river. While Vanessa was on the cruise with her daughter, Sasha, Jim traveled alone.

Recalling how they met on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” Vanesa said it was her Egyptologist tour guide (with whom she was talking about relationships and dating as Vanessa told Glamour) that talked her into starting a conversation with Jim. Interestingly, Jim’s Buffalo t-shirt gave her something to begin their conversation with, and then from asking him if he was from Buffalo (which happens to be her mother’s hometown) to which he replied in the affirmative, other topics sprung up.

Being Vanessa’s last night on the cruise, she invited Jim for dinner at her hotel’s restaurant, and like old friends, they talked for more than three hours. “It was unbelievable,” she said of the experience. Afterward, things continued from there. Thankful that she forced herself to be open and take another chance on love, Vanessa told Glamour that Jim would never have approached her because of her daughter.

The Engagement

On Friday, September 26, 2014, Vanessa announced that she had gotten engaged to Jim during her appearance on the taping of The Queen Latifah Show‘ to create awareness about her next Broadway show, The Trip Bountiful. The episode, which was slated to air the following Tuesday, went on well but along the line, Latifah, distracted by Vanessa’s sparkling diamond ring, said,” “Vanessa, I have been trying to have a conversation with you ladies and gents, but I am blinded by the light coming from that bling ring on your finger.” In response, the former beauty queen shared the news as she gave a wide smile saying, “I got engaged!”

Later on the same day, the Desperate Housewives star, who turned 50 not long before the engagement, shared a selfie on Instagram with her ring visible. The ring, designed exclusively for Vanessa by Bomi, a jewelry designer based in Buffalo, has its cushion-cut diamond positioned at the middle of a platinum halo with two stones, each shaped like a half-moon, on both sides.

Vanessa and Jim started dating after their first meeting but agreed to keep their relationship a secret from the media. It was only after the actress revealed they were engaged that little details of their relationship came to light.

Vanessa’s Third Journey Down The Aisle

Vanessa Williams and Jim Skrip exchanged marital vows on the 4th of July 2015 (Independence Day) at St. Stanislaus Church in Skrip’s hometown of Buffalo, New York. The very lavish, Egyptian-themed ceremony was a private affair that had only friends and family of the couple in attendance. For the occasion, Jim looked dapper as he wore an ivory-colored jacket, a white shirt, a black bow tie, and a pair of black trousers. Vanessa, on the other hand, went for two dresses both made by Carmen Marc Valvo.

She wore the first one- an ivory-colored flowing skirt and top with a gold-colored band around the waist- for the church ceremony during which she made her way to the alter singing ‘Ave Maria.’ She then wore her second dress- a beautiful gown made with ivory organza and gold leather petals- for the vows and the reception. Yes, the wedding happened in St. Stanislaus, but the couple said their vows in the ballroom at the Statler with Chris Williams, Vanessa’s brother, officiating.

While Vanessa decided to get her jewelry locally from the same jeweler in Buffalo who made her wedding ring, Jim’s was a family heirloom- the same ring his grandfather wore for his wedding in 1906 when he married his grandmother in the same church he (Jim) wedded Vanessa. Pictures and video of the event were captured by Shutter Dream Studio and an Australian company known as Giant Invitations, provided the couple with customized invitation cards.

Keeping in mind where they first met, the couple’s wedding planner, Carla Measer-Costamagna, ensured that every aspect of the wedding reflected the Egyptian culture. After the wedding, the reception followed at The Statler City banquet hall and in line with the theme, Vanessa Williams wanted the place turned into a piece of Egypt, where she met her husband. To make this happen, Carla decorated the space using gold-and-white tents, Moroccan lanterns, and colorful flowers. Belly dancers and drummers were also there to entertain guests while snacks such as olives, plus hummus, and pita were provided.

After Their First Lavish Wedding, Jim and Vanessa Got Married Again In 2016

As of the time Jim married Vanessa in 2015, his last marriage was yet to be annulled. As a result, the couple got married again on May 30, 2016 (Memorial Day). This time, they had a proper Catholic wedding at Vaness’s church in her hometown of Chappaqua, New York. She was dressed in a white sleeveless, deep V-neck Pamella Roland gown that showed her cleavage and had a light pink sash wrapped around her waist. For that perfect bridal finish, the actress also wore big drop earrings and packed her hair in a loose low chignon bun. Jim on his own part wore a black suit and a light pink tie.

Sharing the news of their second wedding on Instagram a day after the event, the then-newly-married celebrity entertainer shared a picture of her and Jim sharing a kiss during the event as seen below:

Meanwhile, as the newlyweds left St. Stanislaus Church after their first wedding ceremony, Vanessa, who was sure that she had finally made the right choice, proudly spoke to People about her new husband, saying, “My friends just look at him and say ‘God, he’s solid.’ She went on to describe him as a real man, adding, “You want somebody in your life who has integrity, who is solid, who knows who he is, who is romantic.”

Having found what she’s been looking for in a husband, the Desperate Housewives star told Ripa and Seacrest during a Live interview that Jim is her “third and final” (husband)…“No more!” she laughed. “I’m done.”

It’s almost six years since the couple tied the knot and they are still going strong. Four years into their marriage, Vanessa revealed more reasons why she decided to be Jim’s wife and why they have succeeded at being together this long. Speaking to Elizabeth Kiefer of Glamour magazine she said, “When I met Jim, I realized he was someone who could be a solid role model for my daughter, who could support me and my career and be a part of running my household and my businesses.”

She went on to state that her family and her children will ever be the first thing on her priority list “and that was something he had to come to grips with for it to work. I’m not sure if he would consider it a sacrifice, but that’s our agreement.”

With two failed marriages under her belt, Vanessa has learned a number of lessons that are helping her have a better marriage now. Talking about one of them she said, “I’ve realized it’s key to not expect one person to be able to fulfill every need in your life. I’ve got my friend who I go to the theater with, the friend I want to play tennis with. It puts a tremendous pressure on your mate to have to fulfill every desire you’ve ever had.”

Does Vanessa Williams Have a Son?

Vanessa Williams is a mother of four grown children-a son and three daughters- who are doing well for themselves. From the time she welcomed her very first child, the actress, despite having a very busy schedule because of her career, always placed her children above everything else, including her work and her relationship with her ex and current husband. This is a result of her determination to raise her kids and have a closer bond with them than she had with her mother whom she described as “a tough lady.”

The singer’s first marriage with her former manager, Ramon Hervey, produced her first three children- two daughters named Melanie and Jillian, and her only son, Devin. Her youngest child, Sasha, on the other hand, is a product of her second marriage to Rick Fox. Vanessa had her first child at the age of 24 when her career was just taking off and gave birth to the second and third at 26 and 30.

Becoming a mother at such a young age, one might assume that parenthood would be a burden to the celebrity. But on the contrary, she had this to say in 2019: “I’ve been a mother so long that it’s hard to remember what my life was like before then, but parenthood has never felt like a burden: It strengthened my outlook on life and made me more ambitious in my career.”

Even though Williams succeeded at being consistently present in the lives of her children, she admitted to Working Mother in their June/July issue in 2010 that if given a second chance, there are things she would do differently. For instance, she told the magazine that eight weeks after the arrival of her second child, she had to travel to England for 10 days to promote her album and as she made her way to the airport, she felt very weepy leaving her newborn. But if faced with the same situation again, she would have refused to travel.

With so much on her place career-wise, Vanessa depended a lot on her parents and a high school friend of hers- who served as her kid’s nanny for more than 19 years- for support. Consequently, the actress believes that “it really does take a village” to raise a family.

Vanessa’s Only Son Is A Shoe Designer In Los Angeles

Name: Devin Christian Hervey

Date of Birth: April 14, 1993

Age: 31 Years Old

Occupation: Shoe Designer

Devin is the third child and only son of Vanessa Williams and her first ex-husband, Ramon Hervey II. He was born in New York City, New York, USA, on the 14th of April 1993. Although he has a celebrity as a mother and a top Hollywood executive as a father, Devin is living his own kind of life, away from all the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry. While there is a great deal of information about his mother all over the media, the same cannot be said of him, hence details of his childhood, early education, love life, etc, are not available.

It is, however, known that he attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California, from where he graduated in 2013 with a degree in Merchandise Product Development. In line with this, the young man, who is a talented designer, decided to express his creativity by making shoes. He uses his Instagram page as an avenue for showing off his works. Devin also has a website where he displays his products for online buyers.

Being the son of an actress, it is no surprise that Devin has also tried his hands on acting. He played the role of a young student in the 2000 movie, The Courage to Love, which starred his mother. But it doesn’t seem like he has any intention of taking acting seriously, at least not now.

Thanks to both of his parents who maintained a good relationship after their divorce, Devin shares a close bond with his father.

Vanessa William’s Second Daughter Inherited Her Singing Talent

Name: Jillian Kristin Hervey

Date of Birth: June 19, 1989

Age: 34 Years Old

Occupation: Singer, Dancer

Jillian is the second child/daughter of Vanessa and Fox. Born on June 19th, 1989, she was only eight years old at the time her parents’ marriage ended. As a result, she, just like her siblings, had to divide her time between the home of her mother and father while growing up in Chappaqua, New York.

Miss Jillian picked interest in music as a child and this led her to start learning guitar at the age of 11. She took her love for entertainment further by enrolling in the New School where she studied dance. During her time there, her interest in performance art was also kindled. As an undergraduate student of New School, Jillian Hervey started working with Lucas Goodman. She met through a mutual friend at a party some years earlier and sought his help later on with a dance assignment at school that needed original music.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Sasha decided to pursue entertainment professionally- singing and dancing precisely. She kicked off her career in 2012 as a second half of the R&B duo know as Lion Babe, the other half being Lucas Goodman. 54 years old Sasha was born in Los Angeles, California to Vanessa Williams and her former NBA player-husband, Rick Fox. Though half-siblings, Sasha Fox shares a very close relationship with Melanie, Jillian, and Devin. During Jillian’s birthday celebration in 2019, she was there to celebrate the occasion with the rest of the family. When Sasha turned 20 in 2020, Jillian also celebrated her on Instagram by sharing a photo of her holding Sasha as a baby with the caption, “Having a nightcap and toasting to my sister @sashafoxyy who just entered her twenties”.

Sasha attended The Hervey School in New York and while there, she was part of the school’s volleyball team as revealed by a picture of a volleyball game Vanessa once shared and captioned, “They won 3 games. Next Stop the Championship.” In 2018, Sasha graduated from high school, and like one big happy family, her parents and half-siblings were all there to celebrate with her.

Moving forward, Sasha enrolled in Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Arts where she is currently studying film production with the intention of becoming a part of the industry professionally. Meanwhile, She appeared in her first movie role (though uncredited) as a baby in the movie A Diva Xmas Carol, which starred her mother, Vanessa. In 2012, she also made an appearance in one episode of the series Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez.

Finally, in November 2019, Miss Fox launched her acting career with her role in Oprah Winfrey Network’s maiden production, One Fine Christmas. She would have started earlier but her parents refused as they wanted her to graduate from high school first.

In addition to acting, The beautiful young woman is also a model. In August 2019, she revealed via a post she made on Instagram, that she is part of a fashion brand owned by America’s tennis goddess, Serena Williams. Presently, she is signed to two modeling agencies- Natural Models LA and One Management– and is active on the roaster of curvy models.

Even though she is already towing her parent’s path, Sasha is yet to make as much impact as they have made on the big screen.
