Currently, he is a member of X1, now renamed to H&D, under MBK Entertainment. The South Korean rapper participated in the 2018 MBC survival show titled Under 19, emerging as the 42nd person.
He further represented the Mnet boy group under the MBK Entertainment group at the 2019 Produce X 101. In 2019, after finishing in eighth place in the Produce X101 show, he became part of the X1. On August 27, 2019, the group made its formal debut, releasing their mini album, Quantum Leap.
