Adam DeVine is a very versatile American who has carved out a perfect niche for himself as a voice actor, actor, comedian and singer among other things. He has become very popular for his role in Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, just as he has given his voice in great productions such as The Lego Batman Movie and Ice Age: Collision Course.
Adam DeVine Bio and Age
The actor was born Adam Patrick DeVine on November 7, 1983, in Waterloo, Iowa, and it was there that he was brought up alongside his sister, Brittani DeVine, by their parents, Penny and Dennis DeVine.
While growing up in a rather humble background, one of the things that would come to define his life and push him into comedy and acting was an accident he had when he was still a young boy. Having survived the crash that nearly took his life, he got bullied in school as a result of the injuries he suffered, and this was what drove him to tell jokes as a way to deflect whatever was thrown at him.
For his education, DeVine attended the Millard South High School and from there, he proceeded to the Orange Coast College, and once he was through, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actor.
He began his career officially in 2006 when he made an appearance and also joined in the creation of Crossbows & Mustaches and then, there was Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz in 2007. He would go on to appear in other TV series such as 5th Year (2008), and Workaholics which he co-created and which has come to make him more famous. As a voice actor, he has played in Tron: Uprising, Sanjay and Craig, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Don vs. Raph.
The movies he has had roles in are Mama’s Boy (2007), Pitch Perfect (2012), Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), and When We First Met (2018) among others.
Through his career as an actor, a creator, and a comedian which can be described mostly as very successful, Adam DeVine has got a good number of nominations from which he took away some awards including the CinemaCon Award for Comedy Star of the Year in 2016, MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss in 2015, and Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Villain for his role in Pitch Perfect (2012).
Family, Gay, Girlfriend and Wife
As earlier noted, Adam DeVine came from a rather small family made up of his parents and sister, Brittani Devine, who is not an actress but has appeared as a crew member in Workaholics as well as Adam Devine’s House Party.
Relationship wise, in case you are wondering, Adam does not have a wife as he has never been married. Also, there are people who have asked if DeVine is gay. The answer is no, he is not. There has never been anything to suggest that he has ever had any relationship with a man. Instead, he has dated a few women in the past.
The first woman who became his girlfriend was American singer and actress, Kelley Jakle. The two began dating in 2012, and by 2014, they had already gone their separate ways.
After the relationship ended, he went on to start dating yet another actress, Chloe Bridges in early 2015. They met when they were filming The Final Girls. Since then, the two have remained very close with many believing that Chloe may as well end up becoming the actor’s wife as this is the longest relationship that either of them has been in. In fact, according to the star in 2017, Chloe Bridges was expecting him to pop the question when they went for a romantic trip in Europe. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the clue and didn’t give the whole thing a thought.
A very hard working individual who has appeared in many productions as an actor and voice actor as well as his successes as a producer and comedian, there is hardly any doubt that the actor is making good money. In that regards, he is estimated to have a fortune of over $8 million.
Height and Body Weight
