The Rapper Is Slightly Shorter or Taller Than The Average American Male

In the 19th century, men in the United State of America and other North American countries were said to be the tallest in the world, but this is no longer so. Reports have it that men from Central Asia and Europe currently take the lead. Apparently, the growth rate in the United States has declined because of factors like poor nutrition, medical care, poverty, and what have you. Be that as it may, the country is still counted among nations where you would mostly find tall people.

As you would easily find, the average height for men in America is 5 feet 9.3 inches (176 cm). The implication of this, based on what has been reported as Lil Tjay’s height, is that the American rapper is either slightly shorter than most men in his country or slightly taller. Whichever way, he isn’t someone you would describe as short, even when you compare his height to men from countries whose citizens are generally taller than Americans.

For instance, the tallest of men are in Europe and Central Asia and their average height is 177 cm. There is no significant difference between that and what has been reported as Lil Tjay’s height. However, in South Asia where the shortest of men are found, the average height is 165 cm. This means the rapper would be considered a tall man in such countries.

Lil Tjay’s Height Compared To Rap Artists In The United States

While we can’t tell what the average height for rap artists is, we can confirm that Lil Tjay isn’t the tallest rapper out there but neither is he the shortest in the business. At his given height, he is taller than hip-hop artists like DaBaby, Tyga, DJ Khaled, Bow Wow, Mac Miller, and Lil B who all stand at 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm). Apart from these, he is also taller than Lil Wayne who is 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm), and Lil Uzi Vert who stands at 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm).

Perhaps, not as much as you would find rappers that are not as tall as Lil Tjay, but several rappers tower above the Bronx native. At 7 feet 1 inch (216), Shaquille O’Neal is significantly taller than Tjay. Disregarding the former NBA star who is also a rapper, hip-hop artists like Snoop Dogg (6 feet 4 inches), Chali 2na (6 feet 6 inches), 2 Chainz (6 feet 5 inches) and Slim Thug (6 feet 6 inches) are all clearly taller than Lil Tjay.

Was Pop Smoke Taller Than Lil Tjay?

Pop Smoke remains one of the acts associated with Lil Tjay. The Brooklyn-born rapper, whose real name was Bashar Barakah Jackson, died on the 19th of February 2020. More so, in the same month that he was murdered, he released his second mixtape, Meet the Woo 2, which also featured Tjay.

Tjay’s third EP, which was released in May 2020, featured Pop Smoke and Fivio Foreign in the track “Zoo York”. That’s not all, Tjay also featured on Pop Smoke’s “Mood Swings”, one of the tracks on the late rapper’s debut posthumous album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. Based on the music video of “War”, there is no significant difference in the heights of the two rappers.
