Her journey was stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic and she ended up not playing a single game for the Mercury.
Her impressive college numbers convinced the management at the Los Angeles Sparks to bring her on board. In her 2 years with the Sparks, Te’a made 48 appearances averaging 19.4 minutes in the 48 games she played. She also scored 7 points per game from her shooting guard position while making 1.7 assists per game.
