Ten day days before his 36th birthday, in the early hours of January 25, 1996, Jonathan was found dead in his apartment. His body was found on the kitchen floor by 3:00 am by his roommate, Jonathan was reportedly boiling hot water for tea before his death. An autopsy report determined that he died of an aortic dissection. He had suffered from chest pain and shortness of breath a few days before his death.

However, the result of the chest x-ray conducted on him showed no signs of aortic dissection. This further proves that Jonathan was misdiagnosed and may still be alive if he got the proper diagnosis and treated with cardiac surgery. It was rumored that Jonathan had undiagnosed Marfan syndrome. Be that as it may, it has been many years since his demise, but the world has not forgotten him and perhaps won’t do so for a long time.
