Meanwhile, the actor and his wife, Pinkett Smith, founded a school in 2008 called the New Village Leadership Academy. The school, which has many of its teachers practicing the religion, was alleged to teach its students the religion. However, some of the staff of the school also denied it while others confirmed it.
Jacqueline Olivier, the co-founder of the school, revealed that she was not specifically instructed to teach the religion. She further revealed that she was instructed to take a technology course following the teaching method of Scientologist founder, L. Ron Hubbard. Oliver added that they never made mention of Scientology.
Dr. Mariappan Jawaharlal, a guest lecturer who taught robotics in the school from 2008 to 2010, was of the opinion that the school encouraged Scientology. In an interview with The US Sun, he asserted that the teachers are pressured to use Scientology educational approaches in their classes. This notwithstanding, the actor still maintains that the school has no religious affiliations.

The actor’s wife attested to the fact that she has been to different mosques around the world, but she is not a Muslim. She went further to disclose in her tweet that she has read the Bhagavad Gita, and that doesn’t make her a Hindu. The actress stated that she has lit the Shabbath candles with Rabbi Bently at Temple Sinai, but she is not Jewish.
Jada further disclosed that she has meditated in different magnificent temples, but was never a Buddhist. She also stated that she has studied Dianetics and loves its values, but will never be a Scientologist.
Will Smith also addressed the rumor when he made his second appearance in his wife’s Facebook series, Red Table Talk. The actor made it known that they have never been Scientologists or swingers.
