1917 is one of the upcoming DreamWorks movies and it is a British-American movie which is directed by popular American film director Sam Mendes. The film is expected to star Dean-Charles Chapman, Andrew Scott, Mark Strong, George MacKay, Richard Madden, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Colin Firth. 1917 was written by the duo, Krysty Wilson-Cairns, and Sam Mendes. It was also gathered that DreamWorks Pictures partnered with Reliance Entertainment, New Republic Pictures, Neal Street Productions and Amblin Partners for the production of the movie.

The expected date for 1917 to premiere is December 25, 2019. The distribution of the film across the United Kingdom and the United States of America will begin by January 10, 2020, and will be handled by Universal Pictures.

2. The Turning

The Turning is a horror film co-written by Chad Hayes, Jade Bartlett, and Carey Hayes. This upcoming DreamWorks movie is based on Henry James’ 1898 horror novel titled ”The Turn of the Screw”. The film which starred the likes of Mackenzie Davis, Joely Richardson, Finn Wolfhard, and Brooklynn Prince is directed by Floria Sigismondi.

The production companies involved in the production of the movie include DreamWorks Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, and Vertigo Entertainment. The American horror-thriller had its release date as February 22, 2019 but was replaced on the release schedule with How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. However, Universal Pictures has set the new release date for January 24, 2020.

3. Trolls World Tour

Trolls World Tour is an upcoming animation produced and distributed by DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures. The American film is actually a sequel to Trolls that was released in 2016. Walt Dohrn and David Smith are billed to co-direct the film while it will be produced by Gina Shay.

Trolls World Tour voice cast will feature the likes of Anna Kendrick, Rachel Bloom, Jamie Dornan, Justin Timberlake, James Corden, Sam Rockwell, Ozzy Osbourne, and Kelly Clarkson. The release date is scheduled for April 17, 2020, in the United States of America.

4. The Boss Baby 2

The Boss Baby 2 is a sequel to American animated film The Boss Baby which was released in 2017. DreamWorks Animation and Universal Studios, in a public announcement, stated that the release date for the upcoming film has been scheduled for March 26, 2021.

The comedy blockbuster film is to be directed and produced by Tom McGrath and Ramsey Ann Naito respectively. The storyline of The Boss Baby 2 just, like its predecessor is based on the widely acclaimed book titled ”The Boss Baby” by well-known author Marla Frazee. For those who do not know, the voice of the central character of the award-winning film was done by popular award-winning actor Alec Baldwin.
