In his next match, he caught three passes for 66 yards against the Pittsburg Steelers and grabbed a very long catch, considered his longest that season. On December of the same year, he suffered a stinger injury and couldn’t participate in the final game of that season.

During the 2014 season, Eifert again suffered a dislocated elbow from a leg tackle and stayed out of the entire season recovering.
