The class of actors that make up the True Lies cast list is another example of the vision and touch of brilliance of Canadian filmmaker James Cameron. A remake of the 1991 French comedy film La Totale!, this action-comedy thriller film, which was written, directed and co-produced by the Titanic and Avatar creator, tells the story of a United States government agent named Harry Tasker who struggles to balance his professional and personal life. To his family, Tasker is a computer salesman who happens to be often away on business trips while in reality, he is a spy – a covert operative for a U.S. counter-terrorism task force.
