Tony Parker is a retired basketball player who began his professional career in the year 1999. He spent two years in the French basketball league with the Paris Basketball Racing team before joining the NBA in 2001 after he was selected by the San Antonio Spurs as 28th overall in the first round of that year’s Draft.
