He has two younger siblings, William and Ben, they all grew up in the city of Plymouth which is located on the South coast of Devon, England.

Daley went to Eggbuckland Community College. He was actually meant to study at independent school Brighton College on a scholarship basis, but his father turned the offer down because the school was far from their home. He finished his two-year A-level studies in 2012 with good grades but refused to go further to take his International Baccalaureate course because of his preparations for the 2012 Olympics. Before then, he was already a gold medalist at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, Tom was also a guest competitor at the Australian Elite Junior Nationals where he made first place in the platform and second in 3 m springboards. Dustin was born on June 10, 1974, in Sacramento County in the US State of Califonia. He has two brothers – Marcus and Todd and was raised by his mother Roseana and stepfather Merrill Durant Black.
