The artist said he drew his inspiration from Sting, an English songwriter cum singer, whom he happened to see one day leading his band with the song The Police in 1983 and that was how Toby instantly fell in love with music. Family – Wife, Kids
TobyMac is married to Amanda Levy Mckeehan. They got married in 1994 and they have five children together. Their first child was Truett Mckeehan and he was born on September 4, 1998. Truett was followed by the twins – Moses and Marlee Mckeehan – adopted in 2002. Their fourth child was Leo, born on November 2, 2004, then the last born named Judah Mckeehan was born on 24, March 2006.
The twins, Moses and Marlee were adopted because after they had their first son Truett, the couple were finding it hard to have another baby. And so at the end of a series of praying exercises, they heard the information about a set of twins who needed a home. This was just like the answer to the prayer of TobyMac and his family and so they went ahead to adopt the twins and two years later, his wife, Amanda got pregnant for their fourth child, Leo and after him also came Judah.
