Sunmi was a two-time member of the popular K-pop group, The Wonder Girls as she went on a hiatus for two years before returning to the band. Sunmi was the group’s main dancer, lead vocalist as well as bass guitarist.
‘The Wonder Girls’ was a group established under JYP Entertainment. It debuted on February 2007 and was active until 2012 when the members took a break. 2008 was a breakthrough year for the group who also signed a contract with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) that same year.
