He was born to his immigrant parents in Harlem, New York City, New York, on September 10, 1998. Though details regarding his parents’ names are not yet known, reports revealed that they came from Senegal in Africa.
As Sheck was growing up, he took particular interest in listening to music of all sorts, ranging from hip hop, rap and even the Afrobeats from Africa. He listened to artists such as DMX, Seun Kuti (son of the legendary Afrobeat singer Fela Kuti) and others. Sheck was so in love with old school music.
