Atypical of actresses famed for being sex symbols, Sharon Stone’s romantic life has long been one of the most interesting aspects of her life and she has had her fair share of men, an endless list which includes some of Hollywood’s biggest names. We take a look at the ones who were lucky enough to be called her husband, the children she’s had and more.
Who are Sharon Stone’s Husbands?
Sharon Stone has dated a plethora of men in her life, a list probably so long that her memory is bound to fail her. Out of all these men, Stone has only tied the knot with two, the first one being Michael Greenburg and the other Phil Bronstein.
Sharon Stone’s relationship with Greenburg was her first romantic relationship to surface in the limelight. As with most of the men she’d come to date, work brought them together. Stone and Greenburg met in 1984 on the set of his film The Vegas Strip War. Greenburg is a producer and actor and served dual roles in the TV film.
Their love for each other seemed to be at first sight as the two immediately started a whirlwind romance that led them to the altar that same year. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to last long as they fell out of love almost as fast as they fell in. Stone parted ways with Greenburg three years later in 1987 and by 1990, they put pen to paper, officially bringing their union to a divorce.
In addition to the film that brought them together, the former lovebirds worked together again in Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1986). Greenburg served as her line producer in the film. Born in San Antonio Texas (but raised in Scarsdale, New York) in 1951, Greenburg is 7 years older than Stone.
He runs a production company named Gekko Film alongside actor and producer Richard Dean Anderson. His brother Ross Greenburg also works in production and together, they have produced NHL Original Programming.
After his divorce from Sharon Stone, Michael Greenburg went on to marry Nikki Smook. The couple lives in Nashville and shares two children together; Dimitri and Kenya.
The next man that Sharon Stone would love enough to marry is Phil Bronstein whom she married in 1998, 8 years after finalizing her divorce from Greenburg. Their marriage lasted for six years before ending in divorce in 2004. Bronstein was the one who filed the papers, stating his reason as irreconcilable differences. Bronstein who hails from Atlanta, Georgia is an investigative reporter and journalist and serves as the Executive Chair of the Center for Investigative Reporting.
Like Stone, Bronstein equally has an interesting personal life. He married his fourth wife Christine Borders, Louis Border’s daughter, in 2006 and together, they share two children.
Sharon Stone has three adopted children – all sons. She has never biologically birthed a child. She adopted her first child, son, Roan Joseph Bronstein, in 2000 together with her then-husband Phil Bronstein. Upon their divorce, the court granted Bronstein primary custody of the boy and in 2008, full custody. Her other two sons; Laird Vonne and Quinn Kelly Stone were adopted a year apart in 2005 and 2006 respectively. It came to light in 2018 that Stone was living with her three sons in her home in West Hollywood, California. Stone, in 2015, revealed that her children were the reason she kept fighting while she suffered a strike in 2001.
