Sharon Stone’s Biography
She was born as Sharon Yvonne Stone, the second of four kids born to Joseph William Stone II, a factory worker and his wife Dorothy Stone, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, on March 10, 1958. Her siblings are Kelly Stone, Mike Stone, and Patrick Stone.
Growing up, Sharon stone was a fervent reader and had an IQ of 154. Her passion for acting started at a young age, then she would exhibit plays in the family garage, entertaining neighbors.
She attended and graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown, Pennsylvania. She won a writing scholarship to study at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and majored in creative writing and fine arts. It was at the university that she first contested and emerged as the winner of the Pennsylvania beauty pageant.
In 1977, Sharon dropped out of school in order to pursue a career in modeling. She got signed to the Ford agency and moved to New York. She started on a high note and was one of the best models at the agency at the time. But her modeling career soon slumped heavily after she suffered an injury while taking a horse ride and it left her with a scar on her neck.
The injury to her neck which led to her ejection from her modeling agency made her feel the need for a career change. What better choice than acting, something she enjoyed doing while she was much younger.
Her acting career then began when she was cast in Stardust Memories in 1980 but it didn’t get her the recognition she wanted as it was barely a start.
Although she featured in a series of films in the 80’s, she didn’t quite reach the level that would elevate her to stardom. She continued until ten years after making her movie debut to get the recognition she very well craved for. Stone was 32 years when she starred alongside former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in Total Recall as Lori Quaid, the wife of the legendary actor’s character. This role got her a major boost, helped propel her career forward and also gave her other leading roles in future films.
In the same year, she posed nude for Playboy magazine with the aim of promoting the film. However, her photo shoot didn’t go unnoticed either, it got her on the list of Top 25 Sexiest Stars of the Century as published by Playboy magazine.
Her pose on the Adult magazine also showed prospective film directors that Stone wasn’t scared to show off her well-endowed body to the world and it helped her land the lead role in the blockbuster film Basic Instinct. The movie had a high level of nudity and Stone initially claimed she wasn’t aware of the level of nude exposure in the film. She has since played leading and supporting roles in major and minor films.

Angelo Boffa is the current boyfriend of the Basic Instinct star. Both have a huge age gap between them but aren’t shy to publicize their relationship. He is an Italian real-estate entrepreneur and actor. In the early months of 2018, Sharon was spotted in Miami with a diamond ring on her finger and although she is yet to make comments about it, it is believed that Boffa must have proposed to her. In addition to her adopted son with Bronstein, Stone has also adopted two boys- Laird Vonne and Quinn Kelly Stone.
