In a career that spans two decades and counting Sarah Lancaster has made a name for herself most notably in roles in TV shows from Saved by the Bell: The New Class, to Chuck, What About Brian, Lovers Lane and more. Sarah Lancaster Bio
Lancaster was born on February 12th, 1980, in Overland Park, Kansas to a real estate developer father Michael and a homemaker mother Barbara. Sarah grew up alongside her younger brother Daniel.
When she was 10 years old, her father got a job in Mission Viejo, California that caused the family to relocate. While schooling in California, Sarah developed an interest in acting and began to take acting lessons at California’s Actors Workshop.
Fast forward to her eight grade and Sarah had landed a talent agent. She then began shuttling between Orange County and Los Angeles where she was auditioning for roles. Channeling all her energy towards acting, Sarah began receiving tutoring on set.
With the help of her agent, Sarah got her start at professional acting with the role of Rachel Meyers in the NBC series Saved by the Bell: The New Class.
Though her role was initially planned to be just a guest role in the first season, Sarah’s excellent portrayal of the character saw it develop into a main role that would last all through to the show’s fourth season in 1996.
Simultaneously, while portraying her Save By The Bell character, Sarah enrolled at the University of California, Irvine in order to quicken her high school graduation.
After leaving Save The Bell, Sarah got guest parts in a number of TV shows until 1999 when she made her film debut in the independent slasher film, Lovers Lane. That same year, she also appeared in the TV film Michael Landon, the Father I Knew.
Also in 1999, Sarah landed the main role of Liz in the anthology TV series Undressed. In 2002, Lancaster got a big leap in her career when she appeared in Steven Spielberg‘s biographical crime film Catch Me If You Can which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. Though her role was a small one, Sarah has said that it was a “valuable experience” to work with the renowned filmmaker.
Sarah then appeared in a string of TV shows from That ’70s Show to Scrubs, and CSI. Her next major role in the small screen came in Chuck where she portrayed Ellie Bartowski Woodcomb. In 2014, she had a recurring role in Witches of East End.

After their wedding, Sarah and her husband issued a statement describing how their wedding weekend went perfectly.
“We are thrilled to be starting a family and our wedding weekend was simply perfect.” Adding more excitement to the wedding was the fact that Sarah was with child.
On 29th June 2011, she welcomed a baby boy Oliver Michael Jacobs. However, the news remained with them until a rep gave it away later in September of the same year.
The couple waited for about 6 years before welcoming their second child. A son named Julian Turks Jacobs who was born on January 28, 2017. The family lives in Los Angeles California.
