Ryan Haywood is a multi-talented American voice actor who is also well-known as an on-camera host, Twitch streamer, gaming journalist, YouTube/Internet personality.

He started off as a pool cleaner and a model but is today popular for his incredible work at Rooster Teeth, he co-stars with Rooster Teeth’s gameplay division Achievement Hunter as well as its news division.

He is originally from Columbus Georgia and was born December 6, 1980, as James Ryan Haywood. Ryan usually keeps his background and personal life off the media but through videos and interviews, some information about his personal life have been leaked out to the public.

According to some of his colleagues, Ryan headed to Georgia Southern University after graduating from Georgia Tech University (the degrees he bagged from these institutions are not stated). He also studied abroad in England, bagging degrees in both Theater and Computer Animation.

After high school, Ryan worked as a model, starring in several magazines. According to him, he worked with a magazine called Twist as a male model and also appeared on a runway show, where he stood on a mushroom as a gnome – this he did as a third job as he also worked at Rooster Teeth and as a pool cleaner at the time.

His job description at Rooster Teeth includes to run their website, work on their Game Fails YouTube channel. He served as the technical director and animator for Red vs. Blue Season 10 and also helped in creating Rooster Teeth’s subsidiary Achievement Hunter.

In 2013, Ryan created a Twitter account when Extra Life donation amount for Rooster Teeth reached $90k and in the first 30 seconds, he had 10,000 followers and 50,399 in just 15 days.
