Once upon a time, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna spiced up the showbiz industry with their romance which we thought was headed for the happily ever after terrain. The couple got so popular that they even earned their own reality TV show dubbed Rob and Chyna, got engaged and the union was further cemented by the arrival of their adorable daughter whom they named Dream. But even the most perfect moments they shared together could not save the relationship which crashed shortly after they welcomed their daughter.
From Rita Ora to Adrienne Bailon, Rob Kardashian has dated quite a handful of women but his dalliance with Blac Chyna grabbed the most media attention and was laced with a lot of drama. What has Rob been up to since his split from Chyna in 2016?
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s Relationship Timeline
The only son of the famous Kardashian family, Rob has been in a few rollercoaster relationships in the past and the one he had with Blac Chyna was not any different. They started dating in January 2016 after which things moved really fast; a few months into the relationship, they announced their engagement in an Instagram post in April.
Their whirlwind romance further became the subject of the spin-off reality show Rob and Chyna. The show was launched after the lovey-dovey duo announced the imminent arrival of their child together. Sadly, before their daughter was even born, trouble entered their paradise and in October 2016, rumors leaked that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna were no longer an item and were living in separate houses as their differences had become toxic.
With the arrival of their daughter Dream Kardashian in November 2016, hopes were high that they would be able to patch things up in the euphoria of the new addition to their lives. However, we only saw a brief reconciliation and before the year came to an end, the relationship hit rock bottom with hardly any hope of a settlement. By February the next year, Blac Chyna was spotted without her engagement ring on her finger.
What Has Rob been Up To Since Chyna?
After months of the social media war that ensued between the former lovers and saw them washing their dirty linens in public, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna moved even though there was still the legal war brewing.
Rob made it clear that he was ready to move on from the drama and stayed away from the media attention that has always been a part of his family to make this happen. Even though Rob and Chyna aren’t fond of each other, it hasn’t stopped him from spending time with his daughter Dream. Most of the conversations he has with Chyna are done through an intermediary.
Aa a television personality and businessman, Rob primarily continued his life the way it was before Blac Chyna happened. He also worked on his health issues (he was diagnosed with diabetes in 2015) and tries hard to keep his personal life drama away from his famous family show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He has not been involved in any other relationship as far as we can tell. Meanwhile, his reality show with Chyna was canceled and this led to more drama as Chyna took the matter to court, roping most members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan into the battle.
Blac Chyna’s Court Battle With The Kardashian-Jenner Clan
Aside from her legal battle with Rob over child support payments, several members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan were also dragged to court by Chyna. The model accused them of conspiring to end her hit reality show which was already renewed for a second season. According to court documents filed by Chyna, Rob was abusive towards her with intent to destroy her image by posting graphic contents about her on social media. Additionally, she accused the powerful Kardashian-Jenner family of coming after her career which she built by herself.
In their move to have the case swept under the carpet, Rob’s family claimed the show in question was canceled when Chyna got a restraining order against Rob which made filming almost impossible.
