Rebecca Claire Miller is not one of those people that many may know about. However, sinc the beginning of the Donald Trump administration in the United States, one person that has remained very popular is Sean Spicer. This is even after the man has left office months ago. The link between the two is that Claire is actually Sean Spicer’s wife.

Claire is a woman who has always remained far from the spotlight even when her husband acted as the president’s press secretary. As such, there is not so much that is known about her. What is known, however, is that Rebecca Claire Miller was born on September 23, 1971.

For her education, the earlier part still remains unknown. She attended the University of the South Sewanee where she obtained a bachelor in Art History, Studio Art. She also attended the Indiana University Bloomington where she got a Bachelor in Arts Telecommunications.

After she left school, Rebecca who is also known as Rebecca Miller Spicer worked with the KTRK-TV in Houston Texas as a producer from 1999 to 2001. Maintaining the same position, she moved to Washington DC where she worked with WJLA-TV for the next five years. Her next job was in the White House when she served as an Associate Director of Communications.

She spent a year in the White House before moving on as a Senior Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs of the National Beer Wholesalers Association. She has maintained this position since 2007.

Following her hard work, she has been recognized with various awards including the American Society of Association Executives’ Rising Star Award, Associated Press’s Outstanding Newscast Award, and an Emmy Award nomination following her coverage of the September 11, 2001, attack. Also, she has been named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” public relations professionals in the United States by the PR Week magazine.

As earlier pointed out, Rebecca Claire’s husband is Sean Spicer. He was born on September 23, 1971 and he attended the Portsmouth Abbey School before moving to Connecticut College where he graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government. He further went to the Naval War College and obtained a master’s degree in national security and strategic studies.

Although he has been around the political corners and has played important roles, Spicer came to the limelight in 2016 after he was appointed by President Donald Trump as White House press secretary and later as the White House Communications Director.

His period in office was not without its many controversies. This mostly came up following many claims made by the man that was seen as rather controversial or even in some cases, factually untrue. This began from his first press briefing in which he authoritatively supported the claim by Donald Trump that the audience that attended his inauguration was the largest seen in any inauguration in the country’s history.

Following many controversies that surrounded his stay in office as a result of his attempts to defend the administration, he submitted his resignation letter on July 21, 2017. The portrayal of his days in office by Melissa McCarthy on NBC’s Saturday Night Live has won her an Emmy’s.

Rebecca and Spicer got married on November 13, 2004. The marriage took place at the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Washington. At the time, while Spicer was 33, his wife, Miller was also the same age. When they got married, Sean Spicer was with the US House of Representative where he worked as a communications director as well as the spokesman for the Budget Committee.

Rebecca and Sean Spicer have 2 children. They now live in Virginia.
