Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes was born on December 22, 1962, in Ipswich Suffolk, England. His parents were Mark Fiennes and Jennifer Lash. As a teenager, his family moved to Ireland where they settled for several years. There, he schooled at St Kieran’s College for a year after which he transferred to Newtown School. His family eventually moved back to England where he completed his schooling at Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
