Paul Greene Biography, Early Beginnings
Paul Greene was born on June 2, 1974, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada. He was raised in a Christian home by his parents who were staunch Christians and whose names are not available. His father was a pilot and also worked in the oil field in Alberta, Canada. This is all we know about his early childhood as there is no information on the educational background – both for high school and college.
Paul grew up on a farm with a lot of back-breaking chores and that was where the discipline of hard work was instilled in him. His love for movies and acting was also developed as a child when he would always creep into his neighbour’s house to watch a movie which was forbidden in his own home at the time with his family being a Christian one. It was on one of this ‘sneak-peeks’ that he saw the 1988 movie, Bloodsport with Jean-Claude Van Damme as the lead actor. The movie inspired him so much that it became his every waking thought. He would dream about himself on a movie set acting a fighting scene and then he started learning martial arts and was determined to build his body to be like that of Van Damme – the hero in the movie. It continued until when he was 16, he went on to attend an acting school in Edmonton where he took lessons and his acting career blossomed from there.
Paul Greene moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to kick off his acting career but had to wait till 2006 before he got his first role. He played the character of Dwight in a role on the TV series, Freddie and later the same year, he also featured in the series, Shark and then he also featured again alongside Academy Award-winning actress, Tatum O’Neal on Fox’s Wicked Wicked Games, in which he lasted for 42 episodes as Benjamin Gray. In 2010, he made his film debut in the film, Somewhere, playing the character of Ron the Masseur. Paul has made appearances in many other movies and TV series such as The Wedding Bells (2007), My Own Worst Enemy (2008), NCIS (2009), Red Rooster (2010), Screwed (2013), The Client List (2013), Deadly Sanctuary (2015), A Wish for Christmas (2016), Campfire Kiss (2017), and many others.
