Nathaniel Buzolic is one multi-talented Australian actor who doesn’t need so much of an intro, at least after his amazing performance as Desmond’s brother Harold Doss in Mel Gibson‘s 2016 award-winning biographical war drama film Hacksaw Ridge.
Of Croatian-Germany descent, Nathaniel was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the 4th of August 1983. Buzolic is an alumnus of Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), De La Salle College Ashfield and Screenwise Acting School for Film and Television, where he graduated from in 2004.
He kicked off his career in the early 2000s and has starred in a couple of blockbuster movies and TV series. He starred in an episode of Water Rats in 2001 and the following year, he appeared in Australian television soap opera Home and Away while following it up with an appearance in All Saints in 2003.
In 2007, he played a minor role in two Australian short films My Greatest Day Ever and Road Rage. He played a more significant role in 2008′ film Offing David alongside fellow Australian actor Adam J. Yeend.
In 2011, Nathaniel Buzolic portrayed Kol Mikaelson in the CW network’s series The Vampire Diaries and would later reprise his role the pilot episode of The Vampire Diaries spin-off series The Originals. He also starred in series’ second season in 2014. That same year, he landed one of the major roles in Supernatural: Bloodlines, a CW network series. He also had a regular role on Out of the Blue – a BBC soap opera.
Asides acting, Nathaniel is also a fantastic host who has anchored several shows like The Mint – a late-night television quiz show which aired on Nine Network. He also co-hosted Weather Channel’s educational show Weather, Ed.
