Her Relationship With Her Husband Charlie Day, Son
Not many perfect couples in movies end up together as perfect couples in reality, in fact, this rarely happens but for Ellis and Charlie, theirs seems to be love made in heaven as it transcended the screens to actually happen in reality.
Ellis and Charlie Day (co-actor from the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia series) are happily married. The couple first met in 2001 and began dating in 2004 when they both starred as incestuous siblings on Reno 911! and after dating for about two years, they finally tied the knot in March 2006.
Charles Peckham Day, like his wife, is a screenwriter, producer, comedian and also a musician. The multi-talented actor is best known for playing Charlie Kelly on the same It’s Always Sunny series alongside his wife.
The couple has a son (Russell Wallace Day) together, who they welcomed on Thursday, December 15, 2011, around 7:59 pm. As at the time of his birth, the baby weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces with a height of 21.5 inches. His first name Russell is Ellis’ choice in honour of a beloved departed friend of hers; his second name, Wallace is taken from Day’s family tree.
Unlike many celebrity marriages, they have continued to live happily together in their blossoming marriage without any rumours of break-up or infidelity for over ten decades now. No relationship affairs or controversies have been mooted so far against her or her husband. She seems to be so occupied with her work and family, giving her no time for meddling with relationship controversies. When quizzed about her relationship quote, she said, “Make her laugh, make her laugh, make her laugh. After all, the strongest relationships are the ones in which you can laugh with your partner through anything.”
