Eastwood was into women so much so that he didn’t mind going on a blind date. We’d give anything to know how they were set up together in the first place. A dating site is top on our suspicion list, but we doubt if such things were even rampant at that time.

The blind date took place in June 1952, a time when Eastwood who was 22 years old was yet to begin his Hollywood career and was working for an auto parts suppliers company. The romance was a whirlwind one as 6 months was all it took them to make their way down to the altar. Maggie announced their engagement in October 1953 and the wedding was held in Pasenda on the 19th of December 1953.

At the time Maggie accepted to marry Clint Eastwood, he was allegedly a father.

Before meeting Maggie, Eastwood, according to biographer Patrick McGilligan, was in a serious relationship with a certain woman in Seattle. That woman would later become pregnant with his child. But then came Maggie and Eastwood had to move on to the next one.

She separated from Clint Eastwood twice before their divorce was finalized.

By the late 1960s, Maggie had reconciled with Eastwood after which they had two kids together, including jazz bass musician Kyle Eastwood born on May 19th, 1968 and fashion model and actress Alison Eastwood born on May 22, 1972. However, their reconciliation didn’t mean that Eastwood stopped cheating. His subsequent affairs forced Johnson to file for legal separation from him in 1978.
