The rising music star was born on 4th October 1991 and spent most of her early days in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. She fell in love with music during her childhood days and by age 9, she started singing and took part in numerous singing competitions in her school in which she emerged the winner. She pursed her dreams by attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School based in London and used a karaoke machine to practice at home during which she pretended to be a member of the iconic girl band Spice Girls.

The talented beauty is the daughter of Deborah Thornhill and John Pinnock who are said to be of Barbadian and Jamaican ancestry, however, Leigh-Anne is of British Nationality. She grew up in a middle-class family as her mother worked at Harlington Community School and her father was a mechanic. She has two elder sisters named Sian-Louise and Sarah with whom she was raised.
