The American actress was born as Kirsten Nelson on the 3rd day of October 1970 in Enid Oklahoma, United States. Soon after her birth, her parents relocated to Chicago and there, she grew up along with her other siblings. However, there is a dearth of information regarding her childhood, parents, and siblings. It is already known that she is an American and is from a white ethnic background.
Kirsten reportedly developed a keen interest in the performing arts at a very young age. She nursed the dream of becoming a concert pianist at Carnegie Hall and this led her parents to enroll her for piano and singing lessons.
