The athletics scholarships are awarded to recipients based on their academic performances as well as their talents as athletes. 3. Father’s Altercation With The Assistant Coach

In June 2015, news of Justin’s father’s arrest was trending. It was revealed that P Diddy was nabbed after a confrontation he had with Justin’s coach, Sal Alosi, who he claimed was yelling and screaming at his son during practice while he watched on the sidelines. After the practice, Diddy followed the coach to his office with the belief that he probably had an issue with his son. He claimed he tried to talk reasonably with the coach but the coach made him wait while he was speaking on the phone. This, therefore, made Diddy grab a kettlebell made of cast iron – normally used for weight-lifting and exercises, and swung it at the coach. Luckily for Sal Alosi, it narrowly missed him and there were no serious injuries sustained by both parties. Diddy, however, was then held at the campus police before being transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center. The case has since been resolved on mutual grounds.
