Juno Temple’s Biography
Temple was born in Hammersmith, London, on the 21st of July 1989 to Amanda Pirie and Julien Temple. Her father is a film director and a fan of Punk music; he directed The Great Rock and Roll Swindle (1979 Sex Pistols documentary) as well as videos for The Rolling Stones and The Kinks. Her mother is a producer.
She has two younger brothers (Leo and Felix) and they all grew up in Taunton, Somerset. She attended Enmore Primary School, Bedales School, and King’s College.

Temple Started As A Child Actor
With parents who are arts inclined and into the world of acting, it is no surprise that Juno Temple ended up in the movie industry. She recalls announcing to her parents as a child that she wanted to become an actress and as you can already guess, they gave her all the support she needed and at the age of eight, she kicked off her acting career in a 1997 film Vigo: Passion for Life, directed by her father.

In 2000, she played Emma Southey in Pandaemonium – another film directed by her father. She later auditioned and got the role of Polly Hart in British psychological thriller-drama film Notes on a Scandal, for which she received critical appraisals. She also landed the role of Lola Quincey in Atonement. Juno auditioned to play Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix but lost it to Evanna Lynch.
