Julia Roberts Husband, Divorce, Kids
People Magazine’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” a record five times, Julia Roberts is a very attractive woman and have had no problems attracting equally attractive men.
She has dated a number of fellow stars from Jason Patric to Liam Neeson to Kiefer Sutherland. She was engaged to be married to the latter but unfortunately, the pressure from stardom forced her to call off the engagement just 3 days to the wedding which was slated for June 11, 1991.
A broken Roberts had to take a 2-year hiatus from acting to get herself together. When she did return, it took her no time to find love again in the eyes of country singer Lyle Lovett. They got married in 1993 but the marriage was short-lived lasting for only 2 years as they divorced in 1995.
Roberts then began romancing Benjamin Bratt in 1998 but it only took time to reveal that they were not meant to be. After Julia met cameraman Daniel Moder in 2000 on the set of The Mexican, her feelings for Bratt began to wane. Not even Moder’s marriage to Vera Steimberg could stand in the way of what he felt for Julia.
About a year later, he filed for divorce from his wife while Julia broke up with Bratt. They got married on July 4, 2002, at Julia’s ranch in Taos, New Mexico. Julia and Daniel share three kids together including twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus “Finn” Walter Moder born on November 28, 2004, and a son, Henry Daniel Moder born on June 18, 2007.
Julia Robert’s husband Daniel Moder is equally celebrated in his field. His cinematography skills on the TV film The Normal Heart (2014) which stars his wife earned him an Emmy nomination. His other credits include; Mona Lisa Smile, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Spider-Man 3 and more.

Julia’s family include a brother named Eric Roberts a sister, Lisa Roberts Gillan. Her step-sister Nancy Motes from her mom’s second marriage to Michael Motes died of drug overdose on on February 9, 2014. She was 37.
Long before Julia ventured into acting her brother Eric Roberts who is ten years older than her, had long followed in the footsteps of their parents. Eric Roberts made his acting debut in 1977 and gained recognition for his role in King of the Gypsies (1978) which brought him his first Golden Globe nomination.
His subsequent notable roles would include Star 80 (1983), Runaway Train (1985) which brought him his first Oscar nomination.
The relationship between Julia and her brother Eric was a smooth one, at some point she lived with him, however, when Eric began abusing drugs, their relationship became strained. Julia even had to take sides against her brother during the child custody battle he had with his then-girlfriend Kelly Cunningham. That child, Emma Roberts is now an actress.
Julia and Eric remained estranged until 2004 when he visited her in the hospital after she gave birth to her twin children. Eric in 1992 married Eliza Roberts.

Julia increases her earnings by negotiating to get a percentage of a film’s gross besides her regular paycheck for the role. Together with her sister Lisa, she owns a production company, Red Om Films.
