Ian Connor Wiki/Biography, Family
Connor was born on January 2, 1993, in New York. He relocated to Atlanta Georgia at the age of 9 and returned to New York when he was 18, however, he has credited Atlanta for giving him the life he now lives.
In an interview with the Complex magazine in 2015, Ian revealed that he has never known his father and that he gets along with his mother, although they don’t talk. He added that his mom doesn’t seem to understand what he does, and he doesn’t make an effort to force her into it. However, he maintained that he loves his mom the same way she loves him.
There was one a time when Ian’s mom, in a bid to get his attention, went out on Instagram announcing that she was his mom. Something that Ian said initially pissed him off, though he later had to understand that social media was her only outlet as she barely gets to speak with him.
Ian dropped out of school in the 9th grade and began living in the streets “without boundaries.”
Soon, he began building a following on his Tumblr blog which began to attract some attention his way from 2012. On Tumblr, Ian marketed his “L3NF” line of tees and sweatshirts which he formed in collaboration with Glyn Brown.
The line became a hit after designer Will Fry produced a Warhol-styled face of Connor on his tops which was sported by rappers like Trinidad James. This ultimately opened the doors of modeling gigs for Ian.
Still in 2012 when Ian was only 19, he was contacted by Virgil Abloh, Kanye Wests’ creative director and the two became close friends.
After his 2012 break, streetwear brands like Lumières, Stussy, & Bape began to contact Ian for gigs. Ian’s accomplishments snapped him a spot on Complex’ 2012 list of 25 Under 25: The Young Leaders of Style.
Ian then became friends with A$ap Mob’s A$ap Bari who looks up to Virgil Abloh as his fashion role model. As a result of his friendship with Bari, Ian got integrated into the crew becoming friends with other crew members like A$ap Rocky, who became his manager while he, in turn, began serving as Rocky’s creative director. Ian has said that Rocky was the first father figure he had in his life. He is the face of Rocky’s AWGE creative collective.
By 2015, Ian had begun working with Kanye as a creative consultant for the first collection of his Yeezy fashion line. Ian also modeled for the brand. During Yeezy Season 2, Ian attracted lots of attention for smoking a cigarette all through while scrolling his phone.
In addition to Yeezy, Ian has also consulted for other streetwear brands like Guillermo Andrade’s 424, Pink Dolphin and Emotionally Unavailable. He has worked as a creative director to both Wiz Khalifa and Kylie Jenner. Ian owns a sneaker creation/line he dubbed Revenge x Storm. He manages Atlanta rapper Playboy Carti.
Ian Connor’s Girlfriend
Ian has severally bragged about bedding porn stars. He told Complex magazine that he has slept with over 300 women. He also explained that he was in a brief serious relationship which ended because his feelings for her changed.
Since rising to stardom, Ian hasn’t been romantically linked with a fellow star. In 2016, a 23-year-old lady named Malik Anderson accused Ian of raping her in a post on her blog. Shortly after, many other women came public about being sexually assaulted by the fashion model.
Ian received support from his friend, rapper Theophilus London who defended him but after a misunderstanding and pubic fist-fight which was posted on social media, took back his words, calling Ian a rapist.
Ian has been investigated for rape. However, many have been forced to believe the allegations, judging from his weirdness – he is enamored by serial killers. He told Viper Mag; “For some reason, I find serial killers cool.”
