Holly Sonders is an American golf player as well as a media personality who is known for her appearances on various TV shows and for her works on NBC and FOX Sports.

Holly Sonders Biography
It was on 3rd March 1987 that Sonders was born as Holly Niederkohr, although she is now known as Holly Sonders. It is a name that she adopted for stage purposes. While there is not much that is known about her personal life and how she was brought up, it is known that she was raised by her parents, Dan Niederkohr and Sandy Niederkohr.
One thing that is very interesting is that while her father is an optometrist, her mother is a golfer who remained a club champion for 22 years, and that may be one of the things that have come around to influence Holly’s love for the game. This is further enhanced by the fact that she was put through in the sports when she was just six.
For her education, the beautiful golfer attended the Marysville High School and from there she proceeded to the Michigan State University where she graduated in 2009 with a Journalism major.
Although she had wanted to become a professional golfer, Sonders underwent a surgery when she was 20. As a result of that, she couldn’t do anything for months and by the time she was back, she realized that she could no longer play as good as what’s expected to get her to succeed as a pro. That was when she got to know that her dream of going pro is over.
As a junior golfer, in 2001 she won the American Junior Golf Association and UCT National championship tournaments. In 2007 she reached the round of 16 of the Women’s Western Amateur and in the same year, she helped the Michigan State to reach and take the Big Ten Championship.
Apart from golf, Holly Sonders also played baseball and basketball before her high school days.
After she left full-time sporting, she began her media work with Golf Channel where she was a part of the Morning Drive and worked with Erik Kuselias. Before then, her first work was with WBNS-10TV in Columbus and from here, she moved to the Big Ten Network. Next, she moved to KATV where she worked as a field reporter. And it was after here that she moved to NBC’s Golf Channel. Here, she handled other things including School of Golf and Playing Lesson with the Pros.
She joined FOX Sports in 2014 where she would go on to remain for years to come.
Sonders is married to Erik Kuselias who is a radio personality. The two have been together for a long time and they got engaged in 2012 before getting married. Years after they got married, Holly and Erik Kuselias have not had any children.
In an interesting twist, she shared on her Twitter that she filed for a divorce from her husband in 2017. Nothing more has been said about the union.
