Glenn Scarpelli, via his parents’ influence, got his first shot at acting. He was just eight years old when he clinched his first professional acting job. His first role was in a commercial for Celeste frozen pizza. In what looked like a comedy commercial, Glenn Scarpelli had to consume 27 pieces of pizza that made him puke all through the night. It was a funny one but the commercial was a hit.

Glenn Scarpelli continued on series of commercials until he was ten years old. Golda’s Balcony was his first appearance in a TV show. It marked the beginning of his Broadway journey. Glenn Scarpelli was billed for the sitcom One Day at a Time just two months into high school. He was attending the Professional Children’s School at the time. Though still in school at the time, he was at liberty to pursue his career. The school allowed its students to work and school at the same time. So, it was easy for Glenn Scarpelli to pursue his acting career while schooling.

Having made a spectacular performance for himself in One Day at a Time, he endeared himself to the heart of so many fans.
