How Gigi Hadid Began Her Modeling Career
As a two-year-old, Gigi Hadid began modeling for Baby Guess after she was discovered by fashion designer and co-founder of Guess clothing, Paul Marciano. It is not clear how long she modeled for the company before she stopped to concentrate on getting an education.
The young girl went on to attend Malibu High School where she participated in a couple of sporting activities. Hadid was a competitive horseback rider and was also the captain of the school’s volleyball team. After graduating in 2013, she enrolled at The New School in New York to study criminal psychology as she also looked to take her modeling career to the next level.
Two years before leaving high school, however, Hadid had returned to work with Marciano and Guess and was named the face of their 2012 campaign.
