Zoe has always been musically gifted and this was noticeable from a very young age. By the time she was 16, she had founded her own band called Elevator Fight. The group did not last very long and was soon disbanded. However, Zoe has gone on to form another band, this time as an adult. The electric pop trio is called Lolawolf, they have built quite a following for themselves and have gone on tour with more mainstream acts like Miley Cyrus and Lily Allen.

Singing is not the only thing Zoe excels at. Like her mother, Lisa Bonet, she is also an actress, and she models from time to time. Since her film debut in No Reservations, Zoe has starred in other box office hits like X-Men: First Class, The Divergent, The Lego Batman Movie, Mad Max: Fury Road, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Dope, and the HBO Emmy winning series, Big Little Lies.

Pink is an American singer, actress, dancer, and songwriter, who is widely recognized for being the voice behind hit songs like There You Go, Most Girls, Fucking Perfect, Don’t Let Me Get Me, Who Knew, What About Us, and Just Give Me a Reason. She has been named the Pop Songs Artist of the Decade by Billboard and has received numerous awards including three Grammys, seven MTV Video Music Awards, one Brit Award, and one Daytime Emmy. She has seven studio albums to her credit at present.

Pink’s foray into singing began a long time ago when she was just a young girl. She was the lead singer in a band called Choice during her early teenage years. The group separated before they could release an album.

Vince Carter is one of the famous people in bands as kids, even though he is revered as an exceptional basketball player today. He plays as a small forward and shooting guard for the Atlanta Hawks. The star athlete is considered one of the best dunkers the sport has ever seen. In high school, he was named a McDonald’s All-American. He went on to play for the University of North Carolina for three seasons before being chosen by the Golden State Warriors during the 1998 NBA Draft as the fifth overall pick. The following year, he won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, Slam Dunk Contest, going on to win a gold medal for the united states at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Carter has set and holds several NBA records including, being one of six players in history to rack up 24,000 points, 6,000 rebounds, 2,500 assists, 1,000 steals, and 1,000 3-point field goals.

However, before he became the cool and polished NBA All-Star eight-timer, Carter was a member of his high school band where he not only played the drum but was also the band leader.

Keri Hilson will always be remembered as the woman who gave us the anti-heartbreak anthem Knock You Down, which topped music charts everywhere and earned the rising pop star two Grammy nominations. Keri has made a name for herself not only as a singer, but as a top-notch songwriter who has arranged songs for some of the biggest stars in the industry including Ciara, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, The Pussycat Dolls, Usher, and Britney Spears. Although she has not released any of her own projects in nearly a decade, her previous two albums are still earning listening value and airplay.

Before she became Keri Hilson the songstress, she was in a band as a kid. Keri Hilson actually began singing in a girl group called D’Signe, and although they wrote and practiced songs together, the band never officially released any music and they eventually disbanded.

Pharrell is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. He dons many hats excellently and is regarded as one of the more successful music acts of the last decade. Williams has won numerous awards and recognition for his talents including two Academy Award nominations and ten Grammy wins.

Considering how early in life he found a passion for music, it is unsurprising that Pharrell has a spot on the list of famous people in bands as kids. He was a bonafide member of his school’s band and even attended summer band camp, where he played the piano and drums. Pharrell also played snare drum for a marching band. Even at such a young age, making and playing music brought him much joy, which might explain his status as an icon in the industry today.

Charlie is an English actor who plays the character Jonathan Byers in the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things. The young actor relocated to London while in his early teens, where he joined Comanche, a music band that made noise-rock tunes. He was a drummer in the group and remained with them for over a year before splitting away and joining Half Loon, a band specializing in psychedelic sounds.

Charlie made his debut acting appearance in DCI Banks, a crime drama series, followed by Vera. He also featured in Casualty and Shut In, before scoring his role in Stranger Things. He is set to appear in New Mutants and The Elephant Man.

Ciara wrote stories and poems which later became songs.  She didn’t think very highly of the things she wrote until she joined Hearsay, a girl band, and spent a lot of time singing and writing songs for the band until they broke up and she decided to pursue music seriously as a solo act.
