A Timeline of Rickie Fowler’s Relationship With Wife Allison Stokke

Rickie Fowler is an American professional golfer who is quite adept and good at what he does. Born on December 13, 1988, as Rick Yutaka Fowler in Murrieta, he was one of the most eligible bachelors in the golfing world. He is a good-looking man who has attained success in his career and has got enough wealth to last more than a lifetime of prudence.

With many women at his beck and call, one of the few questions that many have continuously asked has to do with the women in his life. In the past, he has some relationships that came to a surprising end just when fans were expecting him to announce the next big step. Well, it might not have happened with those other ladies, but Fowler has found the woman of his dreams and, as far as we know, is having the time of his life with her since their marriage in 2019.

After his relationship with model Alexis Randock ended in 2016, Fowler was single for a while. The golfer who is also loved for his sense of humor poked fun at his single status in a photo he posted to his Instagram page in 2016, in the photo which was taken at that year’s Ryder Cup, Fowler was seen shrugging surrounded by other golfers as they kissed their significant others.

Fast forward to 2017, Fowler was out of the singles zone having met Allison Stokke. Rumors of a budding romance between the two began to swirl when they posted photos of themselves at the event on their respective Instagram accounts. However, the first person to officially confirm that the pair were an item was Fowler’s colleague Jason Day. In a press conference held for the Zurich Classic, Day accidentally mentioned Fowler’s girlfriend saying that the reason that Fowler was absent at a meeting he called because he was spending time with his girlfriend.

Fowler reacted to Day’s statement by covering his face in embarrassment. The pro golfer posted a clip of the moment to Instagram accompanied by a caption that read “…Looks like you can call-off the #FindRickieAGirl” campaign!”

Later in 2017, Fowler and Allison jetted off to the Bahamas to vacation at the exclusive Baker’s Bay resort. He was joined by fellow golfers Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Smylie Kaufman, and their wives. The fun-loving Fowler, posted photos from the vacation to his Instagram page with the caption “When you wish you could still be on vacation! #RickFoundaChick,” confirming that he and Allison Stokke were indeed an item.

While they dated, Stokke was spotted at golf events supporting Fowler. At the 2018 Masters Par 3 Tournament, she served as Fowler’s Caddie.

Fowler Revealed How He Met Allison Stokke In A Mini-Documentary

Right after making their relationship Instagram official, Fowler and Allison frequently shared sweet moments of their relationship to the viewing pleasure of their fans and admirers. One of the highlights of such moments was in April 2018 when Fowler shared to his Instagram, something that he and his beau had been working on. In partnership with Rocket Mortgage, the couple took viewers through their favorite places to hang out and things they do for fun, including fishing and golf cart races.

Somewhere in the short documentary, Fowler revealed that he had first reached out to Allison on social media. He added that he felt that Allison was a fit for who he is. He described her with words like “very genuine” and “obviously beautiful.” The golfer also revealed his ideal date night to be staying at home, cooking something, and relaxing with a bottle of wine and the cats, or working out, or movies and popcorn.

The Couple Had A Quiet Beach Wedding in 2018

In June 2018, on National Best Friend Day, Fowler went on a knee on a beach with a large diamond ring and asked the woman he described as his best friend and coach to marry him. Stokke accepted and both took to Instagram to reveal the big news. They remained engaged for a little over a year before getting married on the 5th of October 2019.

Their wedding came as a surprise to fans as Fowler did not, in his usual fashion chronicle the build-up to the big day. After the deed was done, he simply took his page and announced that Allison Stokke was his’. While Fowler described their wedding weekend as the best time yet in his relationship, Fowler celebrated the moment with fans with a wedding photo and a caption that simply read “…it just keeps getting better.”

In their interview with Vogue, the couple revealed that they wanted a destination wedding and had originally chosen the Bahamas as the location, however, the couple had to make a last-minute change of plans due to Hurricane Dorian which caused severe damage to the area. They were still able to fulfill their dreams of a destination wedding, only changing the location to Mexico. Stokke revealed how it was their friends at Discovery Land Company who run the Baker’s Bay where they initially planned to get married that reached out to them with an alternative location in Mexico.

The couple wedded at El Dorado Golf & Beach Club and Chileno Bay Golf and Beach Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in front of a total of 48 guests which were made up of only close family and friends. Fowler wore a powder-blue tuxedo custom-made by Ralph Lauren, while his wife wore the traditional white dress designed by Elizabeth Fillmore.

Fowler’s Wife Allison Stokke Is An Athlete and Fitness Model

On her own, Allison Stokke, a native of California is quite popular. She is an athlete; a pole-vaulting star and a stunning sports model. Inasmuch as she never made it to the U.S. Olympic team as a pole vaulter, there was a time in which she was probably the most popular face in the sport after a picture of her competing in the sport in high school went viral more than 10 years ago. When she was in high school, she had many records to her name in the sport and at the University of California, she was an All-American. She graduated with a degree in Sociology.

Allison Stokke Fowler is still involved in the sport, although she doesn’t seem to be doing it on a professional level. She continues to share pictures of herself practicing on social media. Apart from the pole sport, she is also still very much involved in fitness.
