Danika Yarosh was born in Morristown, New Jersey, USA, on October 1, 1998. The American actress lives in Los Angeles, California, and has been active as an actress since 2004. She was first seen on film at the age of 5 as an extra in The Stepford Wives, this was in 2004.
Though it was not a very significant role, it was a good start for Danika as it exposed her to the big shots of the industry. Yarosh and her mum subsequently decided to permanently live in California. She has featured in different films since then, including the 2018 sports drama The Miracle Season. She played Caroline “Line” Found, a star Iowa City High School volleyball player whose team went on to win the state championship after she was killed in a moped accident. Also, Danika Yarosh was cast in Foreign Exchange, a drama written by Chris Sivertson (an American filmmaker), and also appeared in Back Roads, a film directed by the English actor and model, Alex Pettyfer in 2018. Yarosh later joined the cast of the Netflix series Greenhouse Academy for its third season in 2018, replacing Grace Van Dien who left the series after her role as Brooke Osmond in 2017.
As a dancer, Danika won titles at many regional and national competitions. It was this high energy performance background that enabled her successful transition to the Broadway stage where she played Karen Davidson in the Tony award-winning hit Billy Elliot: The Musical. Yarosh was born to Victor and Linda Yarosh. Her father used to be a member of the United States Air Force. She has three siblings, Amanda Yarosh (an older sister), Erik Yarosh (older brother), and Peter Yarosh, her younger brother.
Her older sister Amanda Yarosh, nicknamed Mani, is also an actress known for her roles in Project Almanac (2015), Criminal Minds (2005), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999). She initially attended New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of Arts on scholarship for Drama but was later transferred to the Cinema Studies department.
