Kulakov, with his family, made their way to God’s own country in 2006, to start up life in Asheville, North Carolina. On his arrival to the United States, he worked at a multinational retail corporation, Walmart for six years.
Three years before he quit working at Walmart, he started his first YouTube channel, Origami768, in 2009. On the channel, he would post videos on how to carry out the art of paper folding. He later changed the channel’s name to Taras Kul. The channel has gone on to become a success, it has over 3.4 million subscribers and recorded more than 800 million views.
Convinced by the fame and the amount of money he earned from his first channel, Kulakov chose to quit working at Walmart and decided to fully focus on making and posting videos on YouTube. His decision to go full-time has definitely yielded such a great result for him as he is now worth around a region of $7 million.
In 2012, he quit working at Walmart and created another YouTube channel, Crazy Russian Hacker, which would become his most popular and successful channel. He created the channel on the 18th of May 2012 and would post videos of himself performing several life hacks and science experiments. On this channel, you would see him demonstrate things like, what would happen when you boil Coca-Cola. Even though the experiments he carries out might look unorthodox to some people, Kulakov never creates a video without stressing out the importance of safety, and he also starts all of his videos with his slogan “What’s up everybody? Welcome to my laboratory, where safety is the number one priority. Boom!”. His Crazy Russian Hacker channel has recorded over 2.4 billion views and it has over 10.8 million subscribers. He eventually renamed the channel as Taras-Kul Farm. The channel accommodates videos of Kulakov’s pets and farm animals. It now serves as a platform where he would share his passion and love for pets with his subscribers. The channel has over 250 thousand subscribers and has recorded over 4.8 million views.
