Married Life: Wife And Children

Craig Kilborn is one host that could easily be described as “weird” and that would be putting it mildly. If still in doubt, what would be weirder than marrying oneself? In 1999, Kilborn married himself in a private ceremony where he was said to have looked himself in the mirror and said his nuptial vows. He went ahead to take himself on a romantic getaway or honeymoon for five days at Catalina Island.

Prior to his marriage to present spouse, Erin O’Brien, he had a relationship with Amber Smith, an American actress. Their relationship was however short-lived as it lasted a couple of months in 1998. He also has a son named Jonathan with an unidentified woman.

Because of his self-marriage stunt, it was said that he was gay, however, the rumors of his homosexual orientation were debunked when he divorced himself and got married to Erin O’Brien on December 16, 2002. The couple has two children, Sheppard (born in 2003) and Malin (born in 2005).

His work as a television personality gained him lots of attention; however, in 2004, he left television despite his recorded success, with no reason.

After television, he went into acting and production. He starred in a couple of movies, most of which he appeared as himself. After his last acting gig in 2015, he created a comedy talk show titled The Kilborn File. It was a 30-minute show that provided comedic commentary on news and popular culture, along with interviews of celebrity guests. Unfortunately, it was shut down six weeks after it was launched and this was the last he was seen on-air. Kilborn currently resides in Chanhassen City, near Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, Erin O’Brien, and kids.
