Clint Jackson Frazier was born on the 6th day of September 1994, in Loganville, Georgia, Decatur precisely. His father, Mark Frazier was a salesman while his mother, Kim was a preschool teacher. Mark and Kim have only two children, thereby making Clint an only son as his only other sibling is his older sister. The Frazier’s are of Scottish ancestry and are practicing Christians.

The popularly known baseball player attended Loganville High School where he put his love for baseball to practice with the school team. In 2012, Clint won the Jackie Robison award – an award given to the Perfect Game National Player of the year. He finished high school with very good scores including a .485 batting average, .561 on-base percentage, 1.134 sluggish percentage, 17 home runs, 45 runs batted in (RBIs) and 56 runs scored. Following the awesome stats, he was named National Baseball Player of the Year by Gatorade, an American manufacturer of sports-themed beverage and food products.

After high school, he went further to the University of Georgia on a scholarship as a baseball player and went with the Georgia Bulldogs but soon left the team to take up a deal with the Cleaveland Indians which came with a $3.5 million signing bonus. He was the fifth overall selection of the 2013 draft. In the same month, Clint was traded alongside three other players to the New York Yankees in exchange for Andrew Miller.

July 2017 saw him gain promotion to the major leagues where he has only recorded excellent stats after changing his jersey number to No. 77 from No. 30. He had an oblique strain and was on the disabled list for 10 days before he was reactivated in May the following year. He became the number one ranked prospect after he was traded.

Personal Interest

Clint Frazier has shown a level of kindness to the world in his little way. Some time back, news filtered through about a fatal accident involving five people who got their SUV crashed by a trailer while their driver was distracted with nude photos on his phone. When Clint heard about it, he took interest in Emily Clark, one of the people involved in the accident. He paid a condolence visit to the parents and boyfriend of the dead lady.

Many wondered why Clint chose her out of the five people involved in the accident.  It was later discovered that he had an ‘Emily’ in his life. Emily Rutledge was a teen who lost her biological brother in a Thanksgiving weekend car accident in 2015 and Clint Frazier had become a surrogate brother to her; so the name held a special place in his heart, hence, his condolence visit to Emily Clark.
